Yes. Thank you for posting. I am 82, even after all these years, about 1949... still funny and clever. Good show.
It seems like only yesterday, instead it is a lifetime away.😳 Locked in my memories forgotten until today.🤔
I was born in Chicago in 1948.I watched Kukla,Fran and Ollie through out my childhood.I never realized until this moment how sophisticated it was.

If you were born in 1960, you probably saw them on this show, which was very different! kukla.tv/cbs.html

Me too
Lol, I recall my Mother referring to certain people "Kukla and Ollie" when they had buck teeth & now it makes sense.
Eric N. Wilson commented: "We can't play the records on the air in case Petrillo is paying attention." :)
Endearing, charming, sweet and intelligent. Completely ad-libbed and most of the audience was, believe it or not, adults.
When TV was actually good. I was born in 1947 and when we got our first TV at around this time, this was one of my favorite shows. What wonderful memories.

❤
The song "My Old Trouble" sounds like a parody of Kurt Weill and Cole Porter. The website has a quote from Lotte Lenya (Weill's wife), who was apparently a fan.
