Kubota tractor factory - Production of Japanese tractors
Kubota M7 Series tractors are built in northern France using assemblies from Japan and Germany.
The M4002 and M5001 series tractors are built in Tsukuba near Tokyo and the M-GX series at Sakai, near Osaka, using in-house engines, transmissions and cabs.
For the larger M7003 Series tractors, Kubota set up an assembly-only plant in Dunkirk on the northern French coast, using engines from Japan and transmissions from ZF.

..tuve la oportunidad de vender hace muchos años (1981)...en ese momento no se sabía mucho de este buen tractor lo cotizaban quienes conocían de él...ahora (2021) tengo entendido que es solo un buen comentario de un buen tractor...nadie se atrevió a importarlo...las unidades que vendí eran unos tractores chicos de trocha viñatera y de poco HP...muy versátil..(tamaño....peso ... potencia....valor $)

I always thought wheels on a new tractor were put on by the dealer as tractors are transported from the factor to the dealers in crates.

Only for certain export markets where a certain minimum ‘local content’ is required. These are referred to as Semi Knocked down or Fully Knocked Down, SKD or FKD respectively. It used to be far more common than it is today, when tractors were far simpler.

@@mikezahnow1605 Above 40 hp, MF by a long way. The French built models are OK as they have ZF transaxles, but Kubota have a long way to go on their smaller models to catch up with JD CNH and AGCO/MF/Fendt/Valtra or even ARGO/Landini/McCormick

No the M8 are in cooperation with versatile. M7 are all developed and built by Kubota in France for the european market.

Would have really enjoyed watching this, but totally destroyed with stupid annoying music -
Kubota , John Deere, Caterpillar , I.H. .C ........... they all are extortionist , thieves liers, etc, etc . I’ve gotta Kubota , less then 1500 hrs and it’s in limp mode . They suck !
