    @@heathdetweilerRealtor Hi Heath, I really love this tractor, I have had no problems with mine. I live in Texas and the AC keeps the cab nice and cool. If you do purchase this tractor I recommend the front and rear work lights, they are very bright, it’s almost like working in daytime. I also recommend the third function remote for the loader it opens a whole new world of attachments like grapples and such. Another tip. If you want a radio DO NOT have the dealer install it, they will charge you 300.00 or 400.00 for it. I purchased my radio from Messicks online for right at 100.00 and they have a video on how to install it. The cab comes with speakers and an antenna pre-wired. Installation takes 5 minutes. Let me know if you have any questions. Brad Starkes

    9:15 the steep trailer ramp is easy to fix with some wood on the bottom of the ramps. what you need to know ( and no-one mentions) about the backhoe being plumbed into the main hydraulic loop is : if you unplug the backhoe when taking it off you need to plug the backhoe hydraulic line back into the return line so you don't blow up your hydraulic pump.

    Good afternoon, my question is why wouldn’t Kubota for a LX model cabbed tractor do a 3 split rear window for operation of a backhoe version? That way you can use the single seat instead of using a second seated unit. Plus you can have access to all in cab controls and be able to lift front bucket to push forward while using the backhoe...

    Very nice tractors. Those R14 tires look good! In my experience the R4 tires are not very good in snow. They seem adequate in other uses, except heavy mud. The R1 ag tires are wonderful in mud and fields, and are also good in snow. With chains are good in the woods. For 25 years, I had one 2wd tractor without a loader with R1 tires and was very happy. I added a small 2wd tractor with turf tires and a 60” belly mower and was happier for 10 years. So at 35 years I traded both in on a big new 4wd tractor and loader with R1 ag tires. I also bought a new medium sized 4wd tractor and loader with R4 tires for different uses. I also bought a new commercial zero turn mower and reduced my mowing time by half. Now I can really get some work done, but I am all beat up from working so hard in the past. Make sure you first tractor has a loader and is 4wd.

  • @BlackHawkBallistic

    Even in light mud R4 tires can have issues, especially if there is a slope of some kind. I've had to get a good run up to go up some slightly muddy hills in an R4 equipped TLB that a similar size tractor with AG tires took just fine.

  • @swampwhiteoak1

    BlackHawkBallistic That is very interesting. Was the tractor 4wd, and shifted into 4wd? I worry that they are just quite barely better than turf tires. On my larger tractor, the front tires are up to my waist and are R1 ag tires. that tractor does everything with authority, like a bull walking along.

    I'm very happy with the R14 tires on my 6 week-old LX2610HSDC. I find them to be not bad on turf as long as I don't make really sharp turns. I need them more for their ability to unload packed snow during the winter. They have been used for a couple years in Canada and the response up there has been fantastic. Much better snow and ice tires with aggressive enough tread for my frequent work in the woods. My old BX1860 with turf tires was a spinning, sliding beast blowing snow. I don't mow with my tractor so that might be an area where they'd be too aggressive. LOVE my new LX2610!

    I'm confused about your statement at round 4:08 in the video that the MSL option also includes some kind of "hydraulic relief valve" that allows the bucket cylinders to move in/out as the FEL arms move up and down. It's my understanding that a "mechanical self leveling" feature on a FEL is 100% accomplished by changing the location of the bucket cylinder's mounting position on the boom arms. In other words, it’s a geometry thing accomplished with the additional MSL bars.

  • @countrymorgan2942

    @countrymorgan2942

    Brad Meacham it is mechanical but the relief valve is there to allow the curl cylinders of the to pivot down while the loader is raised.

    @@countrymorgan2942 Ah! That makes a whole lot of sense. I've seen people complain about a "locked up" MSL FEL that they couldn't lower to the ground. It was really "pilot error" since they fully dumped the bucket at max eight, but did not roll the bucket back before lowering the boom. Kudos to Kubota for addressing this potential issue proactively.

My trailer is a 20 foot trailer and has a 3 foot self-cleaning dovetail and 2 foot 3 position spring lift “rampage” ramps. The ramps stabilize the rear of the trailer and the load angle is very flat for a full height trailer. I use the trailer regularly in my business and am very grateful that I listened to the salesman about this line of trailers being better than others, especially for ease of use. The cost was only less than 10% more than the usual rough built trailer. I have an old spinal injury and appreciate the easy use of this trailer. The company has good videos on KZread.

    Huge fan of this formfactor. I think people have gone way too big with these monster tractors they use today as the vehicles can they barely support their massive weight. Anyhow John Deere has suddenly moved in down here in South Carolina as they are not going to let this market which Kubota dominates simply go unchallenged. Never had more fun ever than driving a Kubota side by side sawing down trees, making logs and splitting the wood. Best in the Industry by far and an embarrassment to the John Deere Gator.

    Wow, you are getting your money’s worth from that tractor! I had a 1220 with a belly mower and nearly wore out the engine so it had lost 20% of its power, but it could be rebuilt easily. Traded it in 2 years ago in December. It was always stored inside and needed only an oil change. Amazingly, the dealer sold it in 2-3 days. The new owner will probably run it another 20 years!

    Arcadiy Ivanov tractor with loader special was about 21k, backhoe with subframe 8750. I didn’t get the cab, instead I opted for a grapple and a FEL mounted post hole digger. 72” mower is 3500 and 60” is 2700. No idea on the bagger. The extra hydraulics are 800 or so each.

    Accessary is- a legal term which means someone who aids another in committing a crime. An accessory is - an object or device that is not essential in itself but adds to the beauty, convenience, or effectiveness of something else. Why does everyone on KZread get this wrong, different spelling, different word, different meaning. A-cess-ary. Ack-ces-ory.
