Kubecka Flying Service Helicopter Hog Hunting: Jana's Hog Hunt 9/7/2020
We searched the whole field and saw fresh sign but didn’t see any hogs. I asked Dad to circle back around to the top of the field where we started because I thought I had maybe seen something. Sure enough, this group was piled up on the levee, just standing there! One hog was smart and cut across to the brush. The rest we pushed until they broke across the prairie. The only one that got away was the one that cut early. This is a good example of hogs learning-we have hunted this field hard, and this group was a new one that had just moved into the recently vacated area. As such, they don’t know what the sound of helicopter blades means, so they stood there and allowed themselves to be herded instead of getting out of there! We found another group in the rice in a different area. Lastly, as we were coming in to land we saw a den of 6 coyotes in our pasture. Most went into the rosehedge, but one made a mistake and took off across the pasture.

What rounds do you use? bloody impressive shooting!
Nice shooting! I grew up on polka music. Remember going to the beach during polka festival watching my parents dance.

Your an awesome shot and I bet you are pretty too ! Love frome French countryside
Wow good hunting 🤠
I’m betting she’s tough on a skeet field too! 👍
Its even enjoyable watching other people have the fun lol
Is this your own farm?
Hogs take the "planking challenge". ;-)
Very cool, bro
Any reason to not use a detachable Magazine fed Shotgun? I would figure that would help your poor fingers at the minimum. Also a bit surprised the shotgun is still effective at some the ranges shown. What are you using, 3.5" shells?

A semi-auto detachable mag fed shotgun is unreliable and they generally have shorter barrels. Also she has plenty of time to reload because they are chasing the hogs, they can’t get away.
How is your shoulder not reduced into raw hamburger after firing all of that buckshot? Very impressive!

The gunner in this video (myself) bruises easily-I’m often black and blue for a few days or a week. Other gunners are fine on even bigger hunts!

@@janak5561 I bruise easily too and I'm a big guy that weighs 285 lbs! You are one tough lady and an excellent shot too! My hat's off to you! All I can stand are about 3 boxes of (25) buckshot shells out of a pump shotgun (which bites harder than a semi-auto) before I have to set 'er down for awhile and watch my shoulder turn color. I don't use the "reduced recoil" loads either. I don't think that the shoulder can get calloused up like one's hands can from such wear? If I did much of that kind of shooting that you do, I'd definitely send the gun off to magnaport and get it ported and a forcing cone job. Jerry Miculek says that it reduces the recoil about 30% which is a lot. Even though it smarts on the shoulder, it sure looks like a lot of fun blasting those hogs like you do! One of these days I'll have to try it.

@@janak5561 So please clue me in. I have noticed that coyotes are also shot during these depredation hunts. As predators don’t the coyotes prey on the smaller hogs and help keep the hog population down? Or do the coyotes avoid the hogs and harm livestock instead? Are the hogs too much of a challenge for the coyotes because of their size and numbers? Curious.
Great shooting young lady! Great video also!
Great video and I really like this music. 👍👍
Hard to tell from video, what is usual distance of a shot? No doubt some buckshot for ammo, what size pellets?
Super, tomu říkám lov na černou. Škoda, že to u nás nejde, máme ji tu taky hodně. 👍👍👍
Wow! Great shooting. "Smoking Hams." 👍

What a happy tune for such a somber task!...... sounds unreal
Everybody should use German beer songs as background music to hog hunting.
최고 명사수 입니다 멧돼지 아웃!
So hog hunting with a shotgun is much efficient than with an ar15. I'm also thinking about cleaning up that mess for hours after enjoying for a few minutes. lol. But still i would love to hunt like that.
So what do you all do with all that meat? That’s a lot of walking or driving to gather it all but it’s a shame for it to rot
@janak5561
2 жыл бұрын
Hi! It is up to the farmer/landowner what to do with the meat. That which is easily accessible is often picked up, but animals that fall in the field especially are usually left to nature, as removing the carcass would cause more damage to the field than is worth it.
Don’t know who that guy is but he is knocking the dust off those hogs

Disgusting. Not a "hunt". Now go check if they are rly dead Jana. And also hope you will take the meat instead of letting it rot there. Have fun finding and processing the meat fast before it wil spoil.
