If you are planning to buy Hyundai's Exter micro SUV, which was launched for the Indian market last month, then here is something you need to know. The car has a waiting period of at least five months, and, in case of two variants, up to 1 year. This means that if you book your Exter today, it will be delivered to or handed over to you after five-six months or one full year from the booking date.
the waiting period has stretched up to 1 year on the car's EX and EX(O) variants. On the other trims, meanwhile, it ranges from five to six months.

No product is 100% right?But what are all the disadvantages and short comings
1.Missing Features
While the Exter comes packed with a lot of features, it misses a few key ones like
wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,
split-folding rear seats,
front adjustable headrests,
and front and rear armrests.
2.Not refreshing interior
THough the exterior looks refreshing it not same as exterior
to keep the cost down hyundai uses same parts of grand i10 nios
for base variants it looks justify but if yo have a variant 10L exshowroom and 12L on road it should feel like one
if you take punch or citroen c3 it looks more premium
3.Compromised Boot Space With CNG
Since the Exter CNG packs a 60L water-equivalent cylinder in its boot, its luggage carrying capacity is compromised over the petrol powertrain option. The upcoming Tata Punch CNG will offer a twin-cylinder layout, enabling you to store larger pieces of luggage in the boot.
4.Price Overlap With Hyundai Venue
Since a few variants of the Exter overlap the Hyundai Venue in terms of ex-showrrom price, a few buyers may tilt towards the larger Hyundai Venue, which also makes use of the same 1.2L normal petrol engine.

1. Arm rest from after market available 2. Adjustable head rest will fit only for persons above 6feet. 3. Wireless car play not needed. We use only FM and Bluetooth. 4. If boot space needed buy punch cng. 5. All cng cars.. engine will be underpowered only. You can't say this problem only in Exter.

Missing Adaptive guidelines, push button for SX and below variant is a big Miss
All the disadvantages you have revealed are simply ignorable and have nothing to do with the purchasing decision as Exter is really a value for money product with lots of bells and whistles...🎉🎉🎉 Kudos Hyundai

Worst sterring, heavy body roll, i10 platform so may get 3 star rating, interior is look like bad, build quality not good

Super sir. you are a true reviewer. I have bought the Hyundai i10 nios turbo sports last year 99bhp @ 6000 rpm and 172nmt @ 1500 rpm. cost 9.1 L after discounts 8L . its like a rocket in the budget segment. nowadays turbo variants are not seen in the budget category. Good Videos for the people without any biaz.

Bro the real issue is Exter don’t have fog lam, it’s hard to drive during rainy seasons. I have sx(o) variant, for this cost you can purchase i20 which has more features than Exter.

I agree with all your points except last one. First, indian roads are not designed for turbo. Second, turbo creates additional care & if not maintained, turbo becomes a new headache for any car. If anything struck in turbo while driving in offroad, it becomes huge expensive. There are cases in many brands where engine wont stop despite of turning it off due to turbo failure. So, இந்த exter turbo னு தேவை இல்லாத ஆணி இல்லாம வருவதே நல்லது.

What you said is wrong. Venue 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine is bad and shelf life would be less. If you would have driven Venue you should’ve noticed abnornal turbo noise outside cabin. It’s not advisable to go 1.0 litre engine with turbo at that price what you mentioned

At stating budget this car is like kuska with raita will solve our basic Appetite which is more than enough ... if you want biriyani with leg piece you need to look for other and spend more and go for compact SUV.
