当你打算从马来西亚KL Sentral到泰国合艾(Hat Yai)时，你不仅可以选择飞机或巴士或私家车，还可以选择搭乘火车！这条火车铁路连接马来西亚和泰国，穿越了两个国家之间的边境，是一段非常受欢迎的跨国铁路之旅。
首先，你需要在KL Sentral乘坐KTM ETS火车到Padang Besar。这是一趟舒适且安全的旅程，还可以俯瞰马来西亚风光的机会。当你从车窗望出去时，可以看到茂密的丛林、壮观的山脉和令人惊叹的河流。（如果像我们一样乘搭夜晚的火车就看不到啦~）
一旦到达Padang Besar火车站，你需要和火车站内的工作人员领取白卡并填写，然后从泰国侧的火车站搭乘泰国公司的火车前往Hat Yai。这趟火车旅行通常需要约1个小时。而当时我们抵达Padang Besar的时间是凌晨4am+，火车服务是在9am才开始售票（并不能通过网上提前购买的，只能在Padang Besar的counter购买）。所以我们选择了坐taxi入境泰国，一趟是RM30一人。
总的来说，从KL Sentral到Hatyai的火车旅行是一个非常值得体验的旅程。它不仅为旅行者提供了一个独特的机会，让他们入境马来西亚和泰国之间的边境，还可以让欣赏到两个国家的美丽景色和文化。无论你是独自旅行还是和家人朋友一起旅行，这都是一个非常不错的选择！
When you plan to travel from KL Sentral, Malaysia to Hat Yai, Thailand, you not only can choose plane, bus or car, but also choose to take the TRAIN! This train railway connects Malaysia and Thailand, crossing the border between the two countries, and is a very popular cross-country rail journey. Let us show you the train to Thailand from Malaysia.
First, you need to take the KTM ETS train at KL Sentral to Padang Besar. This is a comfortable and safe journey, and an opportunity to overlook the scenery of Malaysia. When you look out the train window, you can see lush jungles, majestic mountains and breath-taking rivers. (If you take the night train like us, you won’t be able to see it~)
Once you arrive at Padang Besar Train Station, you need to collect and fill in the arrival card with the staff at the train station, and then take the Thai company train from the train station on the Thai side to Hat Yai. This train journey usually takes about 1 hour. At that time, we arrived at Padang Besar at 4am+ in the morning, and the train service only start selling tickets at 9am (cannot be purchased in advance online, only can purchase at the counter in Padang Besar). So, we chose to take a taxi to enter Thailand, which costs RM30 per person.
Overall, the journey from KL Sentral to Hatyai is a very worthwhile journey. It not only offers travellers a unique opportunity to cross the border between Malaysia and Thailand, but also to enjoy the beautiful scenery and culture of both countries.
