love those stickers on wheels, also had on my 950 adv, while it make impression that they are the most expensive stickers in the world, they are pretty solid and looks fantastic, so no regrets there 👌👌

It can be done without removing the shrouds from the tank or removing the radiators. Remove the bottom forward bolts connecting the shrouds to the radiators and they will easilly come off attached to the tank. Then just remove the fan. A little tight to get at exhaust valves but I do my 625 SMC this way no problem.

Nice video. Does the timing mark on the engine window match the actual TDCC position of piston? Is it wrong to adjust valves by finding the TDCC using straw in spark plug hole?

doesnt matter, until the cam lobes are not pushing on the valves youre good to go

do you have to replace the gaskets for the valve covers

thanks, ok i try something :). I remove the radiator that i will have more place. im looking for the good Top Dead Centre(TDC), if the valverockers move that is the good position and adjust the valve clearence 0,15 mm. The mark indicates the TDC.

there is no 620..all of them are 625cc

@@OleMossyHorn hi there. You don’t want to have any ill effects from incorrect valve clearance. If they are tight you’ll burn a valve. It’s just preventative maintenance.

How do you understand you are at t.d.c or exhaust stroke? By touching the valves?

When he rotated the tire, there’s a sight window on the stator side, there’s a line as you rotate the tire while engine in gear, the line will show up. Match that to the dot in the stator window.

You know what it tollerance is for the adventure model?

Should be the same. 640 for these years, most if not all specs are the same. The valve spec is listed on the frame under your gas tank.

Sounds like there is a lanz bulldog running at the beginnig.
