REXX The Rider : Kawa for sure.. even though it’s not feature packed like KTM, it’s considered as a more Premium brand with better reliability and refinement and In-line 4 exhaust note is sweeeeeet !!

Top speed 220kmph, Full LED headlamp, 169kg weight all this with four of the riding modes. Interested to see how Launch control works. Anti- Wheelie will make us crazy and last, but best will be cornering ABS. Cost justified. Nice review. Very well explained.....

Amazing review. Precise as a laser guided missile. Amazed by the confidence of Rishaad on not a much familiar track. The only moto journo after Sagar Sheldekar which brings excitement. Carry on✊🏻
☝First I think the exhaust position will be problem to the pillion.

if you are thinking about a pillion rider then KTM aint for you...its such a single rider bike... I have a Duke 200 and i hate taking someone on the pillion..

Not really, look at the rear foot pegs, the pipes are almost tucked under the seats so no way anythings gonna touch that part of the bike as long as its human.

Even pick up of bike will throw rear sitting person on road.. it is not made to sit at back

Nonetheless, it is the only one naked middleweight to have that comfortable pillion seat...that exhaust will be hot..an accessory to prevent its contact will serves the purpose of taking a pillion
This replaced zx6r as my dream bike...love the review autocar ...a very splendid job indeed ..

Oh mate dont compare the 2. In corners the Zx-6R has a surgeon like precision..power delivery is SAVAGE. Ofcourse its track oriented but the adrenaline rush is something else. Trust me, you'll have a hardest time comparing these two.

Super review. Great riding too. Pricey as ever is KTM. Wish the exhaust had more of a flattish noise cos this one has the parallel twin engine in it
Looks exciting.. but when you think of spending your hard earned money amd start the comparison with other options, it didn't make the cut. Only a true KTM fan can put money on this thing or the one not looking for practicality at all. A great bike in itself but not better than the competition, especially for that price. Good review AI.

If the price range was around 7-7.5 this would have been the best bike to buy , this has exceeded my expectation to unbelievable level , I still love this bike but as a Yamaha fan I would still go for the good old mt 07

Its not an 400 or 300 cc category bike , it is an 799 cc bike and you want it for 4-5lakhs really !! Do you know what are the types of electronic packages it has offering as a standard one ! It is really a great pakage!

Ktm should have launched it at 6.5 to 7 lakhs to make any impact in India

I still can't comprehend that exhaust's positioning .
Now please do comparison with new triumph Street triple RS and other bikes in this segment ...
Been waiting for a long time... Now its time to drag with other bikes in its segment.
As the Name Suggests ..It indeed is the DUKE of this price segment
KTM is all about breakthrough design and super handling. But you get other options better in terms of power, torque, and value.

Two things that are eyesore....tail light and exhaust position.....rest is awesome....
Only concern is heat management. I think the position of exhaust will give bad experience to the pillion.

Its design looks a lot like 390. No big bike feel like z900 or even z800
The exhaust is placed quite high & can be quite capable of roasting the pillion's legs

Yes but the leg will not touch the exhaust but will feel hot to the legs
Main question 790 is more Smoother than single cylinder bikes?
Though equipped with all the bells and whistles still feel it's overpriced

A fact that most of them not aware is this has been brought down as CKD. Usually engines will be brought as a whole unit and fixed whereas KTM India even knocked the engine into parts and we're assembled in India. At least that should have brought down the cost which did not happen. That is why they gave upto 3 lakhs discount to clear the BS4 stocks. Eventually they sold out within days. Now for 2020 they are contemplating on bringing either the 890 or 790 bs6.

Great motorcycle, but the price should be 8 lakhs ex showroom.
almost 11 lakhs onroad...this has to be the perfect bike for India. I will take the Kia Seltos instead!
