As a solo guy from way back, I can say that this amazing person has changed solo gigging like it's never been changed before. Looping is so damn cool. KT, you're the best!!!
KT is an absolute treasure. She played a concert in our little city on 4th of July to an appallingly tiny crowd. She pointed out that we could each catch her eye, and we would all be able to share a special night with her! She gave us a great concert, full of life, energy, and humor. For that she will always be one of the greatest stars I have ever had the fortune to share a room with.

I love hearing about stars being like this! thanks for sharing this story!
Still one of THE coolest acoustic guitar tunes... 😎
She's as much fun in concert as she is here one-on-one. A true musical artist that hasn't forgotten where she comes from.
Beautiful smokey voice. Wow.
Straightforward, unpretentious, educational, funny. Much to like about KT.
If you ever get the opportunity to see KT play live, grab it with both hands, you won't be disappointed. I've seen her live several times, and it's still not enough. Seeing and hearing her play live is addictive, your next KT fix can't come soon enough.
Now THIS is a Creative Genius...using simple tools to create a unique style and original music...I wish her all the success in the world.
I love how looping has become an instrument and a means for solo artists to really add some layers to their songs live.

I saw the cellist Zoe Keating play the Allegretto from Beethoven's 7th Symphony all by herself live with just a looping pedal. Amazing.
I remember watching that Jools Holland when it went out, safe to say I’ve been a KT fan ever since! Even managed to catch her live once, great musician
Love her spirit. She showed me how to use a looper about 12 years ago
I love her, she is just full of life.
A brilliant song by a superb musician. Now for part two - "What do the words mean?"
She's the stuff. 🔥🤘
One of the many Scottish innovators produced by my proud country. She really showed what the Akai Headrush 2 could truely do and it's the single reason why I have one myself. One of the best purchases I ever made.

I'm from Brazil and a huge fan of many Scottish artists, you guys have something really special right there (And I accept recommendations of more bands from Scotland!), however, KT Tunstall is a case of deep love, I just love her so much. I get sad because sometimes I feel people are forgetting her. With that talent she should be bigger but I don't know if she really wanted/wants that. Just promise me Scotland will take care of her legacy. I want to create a virtual movement with a hashtag or whatever shit that would work to bring more attention to her. Like reunite all KT's fans to do something for her career, for really supporting the artist. I don't know, when it comes to my favorite artists I can be really romantic haha.
I saw KT last summer in Omaha with Squeeze and she is an amazing musician, singer, storyteller, and entertainer. I love ya, Katie!
I love how she put this all together.
Yeah. She is so genuine and gracious.
She is such a talented and genuine soul! Too much fun!
Oh the skirt and boots on the first Jools Holland show. Love at first sight and sound 🥰
So cool!!! KTT is such a monster talent!!!
I adore this song. I heard it while driving home & couldn't wait to find out who sang it. I bought her album immediately. I didn't realize she was the same person who sang "Suddenly I See" until I watched "The Devil Wears Prada" again & I went, wait a minute- holy cow.
Kt Tunstall is so beautifully open in this piece. That's what makes her sound so free. She knows that you have to be her to put it together like her...so all other versions of her song are feeble at best...
KT is one of humanity’s greatest treasures. She must be protected at all costs.
Let me speak for us all .Love you John !
I've seen the entire rig rundown, twice. Had to see this part too. She is such treat to listen to.
Still remember seeing her do this and it blew my mind! Awesome!
Clever work, P.G.- taking clips from previous R.R's that are damn interesting and putting it out now. I'm a fan of this. Motown is a great comparison, John!
Premier Guitar is the absolute best when it comes to really getting to the heart of a guitarists genius ... takes one to know one ... excellent interviews ... Robin Trower..... Do One with Yngwie Malmsteen Please . Thank You John B
WOW...
Why doesn't this have a million views, likes and comments!?! Just brilliant!
Wow! I love this video! Thank you!🎤🎸🥁🎵
That young lady has more pure talent in her pinky than 75% of todays "musicians" have in their entire body!
This is refreshing and a great cut!!
huge respect. she's a great creative force. love her music
Thank God for KT
A really great rig rundown!!! KT brings the goods! 👦🏻
I love the tambourine story....hahaha!
Love this
I love KT
Class!
So cool! Thank you for sharing you secrets! Love you and your music. A real gift to the world. Thank you!!!
There go those Scottish heels stomping again :D
that was SO COOL!!
Brilliant 👍
Great song and super fun to play. Love the video and hearing her thoughts on it!
Very cute how KT is trying hard to soften her wonderful Scottish accent here. I do the same with my Irish accent.
DAMN!! If I could ever get a grip on my looper like this. Bravo!
This was so cool. What a talented lady. 👏
I remember when I first heard this song and found out it was a loop pedal I was like, this is bloody genius. Still a hit
She is just the total best!
Brilliant
Great How Its Done video. She's also an entertaining storyteller, a taxi drove her tambourine back to her hotel. Wow...
I always like the song but the first time I saw her performing at live with the looping I was like that is so damn cool
This is a great video snip and KT is brilliant and a down to earth soul ... if u like this check out her live cover on Bob Dylan’s classic song Tangled Up in Blue ... just do a KZread search

And an old Akai Headrush at that !!
No idea what she's talking about, but the end result is fantastic

Aye 👍. Just brill
Still FAB :0)
KT U R COOL!
❤️
she seems realy cool
Do Not Miss The End!!!!
Very cute Scottish lassie
As for the tambourine, I like the way Shakey Graves plays his and his bass. No shin splints there.
"her voice, some claps, a Gibson acoustic, and a looper." Don't forget cojones. Big, brass cojones.

Just one date KT, just one date...please?
Lost me after first minute ! But brilliant to see the tech and how it's done
How come you never see KT Tunstall and Greg Lake in the same room?
A talented and fully dressed woman...a rare breed now days. What a great artist.
Again?
Bo Diddley, Bo Diddley
Well Ed Sheeran has 10 people writing his songs for him..............
And tash finds inspiration
She mentions Ed Sheeran, but she was using loopers way before Ed Sheeran, wasn't she?
She's been in LA too long. Her accent is fading.
