I missed the Pride FC and pre-Usada UFC days when men fought with the ultimate power that could be wielded. The knockouts are exceptional.

I know he lost the fight after this one, but he really has come a long way from a strongman and how late he got into MMA. He is definitely pretty skilled at this point. Can't win them all though.

Pudzianowski was always best at dynamic events in strongman; he was fast carrying or pulling whatever weight he had to. Speed agrees with him more than static strength (of course he can surely deadlift more than any other fighter... but not so much for a Worlds Strongest Man, much less for someone who won WSM many times.)

In mma you're instructed to continue fighting until the ref stops the fight, but I know what you mean, heavyweights should hold back atfer those one hit dingers. Mark Hunt for example always hits you just once and then walks off as you fall to the ground. He never follows it up with a ground hit because he knows its possible brain damage to the prone opponent just laying there. The refs need to be quicker and get in there. No need for a second hit here from Pudz but ref was too slow.
