By far the best KSP Interstellar interpretation. Camera angles perfect. Ship design spot on. It actually got me teared up like the actual film. Valentinas face after he said docking cracked me up. This video deserves way more views.

I thought this wasn't possible in KSP, then I realized it was necessary

we can appreciate the fact that this guy achieved to dock In those conditions, he should be in NASA

So I was looking around, searching YT to see if anyone had ever attempted to reproduce this scene within KSP with little hope tbh I found videos with fancy mods that reproduced the ship and all, but they missed the most important points that makes this scene so exceptionnal... Then I found out this video : your video. And man was I impressed! It overcame any of my expectations : you're spot-on on so much things : camera, docking, alignment moment, ... Everything is so well assembled and it's just such a great video. Wow, the KSP community is talented. 👏

i've just noticed video on ksp yt channel "rotating docking ports" and remembered that interstellar scene and thought that someone recreated that in ksp. Found 2 videos - this one and cinematic which is 2015 year. Firstly watched this video and then cinematic. And cinematic was bad after watching this masterpiece

@@Sweg420 very good job. I thought if it possible to make it in entering atmosphere but no because ships have different resistance. Also spinning endurance 68 rpm isnt possible to recreate in ksp i suppose, so this video is ideal within ksp. Great job!!!

"pushing out of orbit" (switch to map view) was my favourite part.

MechJeb as TARS was perfect.

This is the best docking video in KSP! Docking it self is soooo hard, but docking while spinning must be even harder. Really impressed.

You did it. You captured this scene so well, it's amazing

Ironic it is evenmore realistic than in the movie where they use the shuttle engines, out of line from the whole docked craft center of mass to get back into orbit... Using the mothership's main engines was the only solution since the shuttle was docked to the centerline dowking port.

This is by far the most accurate one I watched so far. Great one.

Seeing the suprise MechJeb cameo and the maneuver map at the end made me laugh out loud. Absolutely great video, and such great quality with the cuts and edits and camera angles and everything. Real great work.

I found out about KSP about a year ago, and i've always wanted to play it. Epic Games recently put it out for free. I'm still going through the tutorial and loving it so far. I'm in the docking tutorial right now and thought, "I wonder if it's possible to do the docking scene from Interstellar in this?" A quick Google search brought me to your video, and holy crap! You nailed everything! The camera angles, especially! Amazing job, I'm gonna show this to all my friends! 👍🏿
