KSP: Building a Tower Base!

Ойындар

A couple of weeks ago I suggested the idea of constructing a tall, spindly base on a low gravity body like Gilly, using the ground anchor to keep it stable without the need for landing legs. Today, I tried just that!

I wish ksp had some sort of auto leveling part for base building. Like, a part you place on the ground or on a ground anchor and the some robotics in it automatically levels a platform on top of it that you can build on. That would be a lot easier than trying to eyeball it when building with the kerbal.

Just keep holding out there till KSP 2 Matt. I'm feeling a lethargy similar to the minecraft community with KSP. Content creators are treading ground they have for a decade, over and over. Few new frontiers are able to be explored, even with mods. With minecraft, the creators, even with mods and new updates, are visibly getting worn out. I hope for Hytale to reinvigorate them - I know that KSP 2 will be similar for the KSP community, and is thankfully coming much faster.

  • @eekee6034

I'm seeing the lethargy too. I wish my game was ready to show; crazy spaceplanes which absolutely put their individualistic styles ahead of efficiency, but the refuelling infrastructure they need is still very much in development. Also, I take far too long developing each plane - or other strange vehicle - and my pc needs a massive upgrade too. Edit: I forgot, Hoffman KSP Engineering is doing interesting things with KAL controllers, but he's not a regular uploader. And there's Carnassa who at least sounds enthusiastic...

Hey Matt, love your builds. and I have an Idea I am simply not capable of doing myself. Make the spice collectors from dune either a copy from the movie or your own idea of them. would be so cool having a massive rover on duna and then have a deployable collecting unit to pick it back up to either orbit or another location on duna. could be a chance do use the ore scanner again. Love your work!

Hey Matt, I've built a mun surface station, but everytime i switch to it or load a quicksafe the Kraken comes and destroys it. Is there any way to avoid this? Because it would be pretty sad if it's just lost forever.

You should leave the sound off whenever outside of an atmosphere. Since sound waves require a medium to propagate. I think it would be a cool feature, just a suggestion though.

Matt hear me out on this: You should bring back Blunderbirds but with a new rule... YOU are not allowed to quick save or quick load. Make it a high stakes mission each time where the audience doesn't know if you will truly save the kerbals on your first try. Of course your free to troubleshoot your rescue craft in orbit and what-not. I mean, think about it, if the victims in the Blunderbirds series had simply loaded a save, they wouldn't really be needing help would they? Anyways that's my idea
