Matt Lowne Considering you've done pretty much everything Stock has to offer, you should do Real Solar System, which is basically the ultimate KSP challenge

In my first days of playing KSP I always create a SSTN(Single Stage To Nowhere)
i love it how he did it in a single flight, like no grabbing a new plane for each station piece, he lands it, puts in a new module and refuels it
The fuel truck looks sick af

Place an aircraft in orbit using whatever method, then land it, then, without refuelling on the ground, fly it into orbit again.
@Freddysquiggles

@@SecretAsian27 It takes an incredibly small amount of fuel to land from orbit. So this isn't actually that hard at all.
Is no one gonna talk about how the Cargo door of the ssto also functions as the nose? Bravo Matt that’s awesome!
Now *this* is how one makes a great SSTO video.

Now to use an ssto to build a mothership in orbit, and compare the cost of that with trying to launch it with a single large rocket! Would be great to show the value of sstos
Very impressive mission setup and i love the SSTO spaceplane. Well done!
Great idea for a challenge. The cargo SSTO design is beautiful looking as well as functional!
Amazing mission and craft design (and commentary)! Loved it!
Awesome video mate! I've never thought of doing something like this! Thanks for the inspiration ;)

Nice dude, your videos have re-kindled my love for KSP. Your music choices are also very sick.
I love this. I did a similar thing but a cargo plane to build a polar base. But this is way cooler. Bravo.
I learned all the basics, including rendezvous, using default tutorials in the game. They're pretty well made, in my opinion.
And im here, learned just Yesterday how to send someone in orbit... Poor Bill and Bob are now orbitating without any chance to come back😂😂

I've been playing ksp off and on for years and all I've ever managed to do was go up, then down in my rockets. Watching Matt inspired me to actually play through the tutorial and I've finally gotten to a stable orbit with enough fuel to come back. Such a proud feeling for me. So I totally understand your pain lol
Good job Matt, if only I could do anything as good as your stuff. Keep up the good work!
After watching more of yours and Mark Thrimms videos I've started trying to design large SSTOs, and boy is it a challenge! I've been having trouble balancing everything with so much fuel and engines, while trying to keep it looking somewhat decent lol. Nice design and great video
very good video at my opinion , one of the best in the KSP youtube categories i'm subscribing !
Loving All the SSTO videos, Watching them all at the minute. You're really convincing me to make a SSTO
You never cease to amaze me. This whole idea was genius!
I still come back to this video every now and again ... and add it to watch later to keep getting better at KSP ... videos been helping a lot more recently ... making actual decent rockets now ... now if only i could make a proper ssto that doesn't need to rely on monoprop to deorbit XD
wow that was really impresssive, gj Matt!

Awesome! This is amazing!
nice vid i like the design of the SSTO with the front, very interisting
Yo this was a great idea and it’s freaking awesome 👏 probably my favorite video of yours
Amazing Matt, Just Amazing
The best way for trucks and trailers on KSP (I haven't seen any videos) is use the Docking Arm (the claw) on the truck pointed horizontally, on the trailer allow for a large flat area. Then drive the truck grab on to the front of the trailer (with the back of the truck) then adjust the claw to 'free pivot mode' it might take some engineering to get weight balancing correct but the truck and trailer will have a 30' pivot Happy flying
Nice job Matt love your videos.
this is just awesome.. all of it!
I think I have a new favorite SSTO design from your aerospace company, also those little cars are ADORABLE!! :D

Wow your so good at docking space ships. I can’t even dock anything Also your good at controlling the RCS thrusters. Wow.
one thing that i like about ksp youtubers.... THEY NEVER STOP TALKING
I love it!
Very beautiful and nicely done mission ^_^
you sir have gained a subscriber for making actually good ksp videos
Excellent background music.
That's a pretty neat SSTO design.
I love the whats the difference beat ♥️♥️
Thank you KZread recommendations very cool
Lots of inspiration
dude, that's super cool
Now this is COOL!
this is so epic! love all your videos! Really appreciate the effort you put into your vids! Nice choice of rap music in this video! Your SSTO reminds me of a blue whale for some reason ^_^ Going to watch the music version of this next! One suggestion is that you should add some large radiators with the solar arrays and make it look even cooler!
I'm using a modified (slightly - replaced center 7 rapiers with vectors, modded fuel tanks and I RCS'd the hell out of it) version of the SSTO here to make a station network. 1 Fuel station around every reasonable body in the game (excludes tiny places like bop and pol and really heckin massive ones like the Sun) This SSTO is great fun to fly and it's stiff functional! Seems hard to make one like that nowadays.
A trick I learned while toying with building VTOL craft is to use fuel lines to and from the tanks. It is basically an auto balance system so I don't have to try pumping fuel back and forth mid flight.
You sir, are a legend!
I actually managed to do my first real ssto, that can land back, but no payload for now. Guess that's still a good way to start :D
wow your skills are over 9000!
I love all your land vehicles.
Love the dre instrumentals
Dude fucking awesome little setup up you got there! I love the jet and the semi was a hilarious touch hahaha
Dude that SSTO looks cool as hell
Good Job!
And for anyone using mods, you can use KAS for a much easier refueling system, bring the truck over, get a kerbal to pick up the hose and have a ladder on the ssto and plug the connector into a socket to transfer fuel rather than messing about with the docking port
Dang, this is pretty nice! Would be interesting build space station in multiplayer mode. This video deserve like and subscribe
Great video
Cool nice video!!
That's even cooler than reusable stages! Pretty interesting idea, actually... Maybe recovery is not always the best way?
I come here to watch spacecraft spacestations and rockets, But those HGV truck trailers are beautifully created🏅 this game Is about the full package 👍👍
Great video and fabulous premise! If you're looking for future video ideas, I'd love to see some proof of some of the points of spaceplane design. For example, I totally agree about the magic number of 400m/s for Rapier's. I've hit that more than once - I've got enough umph to get from 400m/s to orbit, but not enough to get from 0 to 400. I think some folks would learn from seeing that barrier demonstrated. One issue in particular I'd like to see proved is that Ramjets are useful on large SSTO's - I've made a few attempts at using them and, anecdotally and without any good way to measure, I don't agree. But my bet is that I'm just holding it wrong. Another one to explore is flight profiles. I think (with no real evidence) that a flat trajectory at 1500m/s in the upper atmosphere is not as good as an ascending one at 1400m/s at that altitude. (For me, my rule of thumb is a > 300m/s climb rate up to 60km) Whether that's really better or not is not clear to me. I know I get to orbit and you do too. The question is who gets there with the most stuff left over.
You make everything look so easy, I can't even do a Mun landing in Career Mode without cheats!
I love how this ssto looks
I was JUST looking at your channel :D
So Cool
I love the logistics of this mission
A SpaceX style Station Building video would be awesome!
How do you manage to keep the craft stable, since you have payloads with big weight changes?
Love the music Matt Old school hip hop all the way.
This design was so cool and so sleek I decided to replicate it in my own save file, but bigger so I can launch more and bigger parts.
Insane
Great video as always! Keep up the awesome work :D
