If Cugowski was born in the USA, he would be a world star. That's it.

Cugowski i Budka Suflera mistrzostwo świata
"The rain hit, the night blew out. Empty manor by the road. In the tree cathedrals, in the mountain bascinets, A Wagnerian tone..... Behind the mystery of stained glass Chill of empty chambers Time crushed into ashen dust Lifeless, empty manor I add some wood, for the flame went out, Storm is raging on Suddenly, gush of colours, candles light Someone plays the violin Gothic gates crack ajar Creaking, glide aside White lady flowing forth through them In a diamond mist The manor spinned with us A flame of ginger hair Above the mountains, I fly with her A rose in her hand (Choir) And after night comes a day, after rain - a calm The birds startle me awake Tussling at the windows The gray empty house again, Where I took a refuge And the dearest of all, of all dames, On the stained-glass window It is time to get back on the road, Dip back into life Even tough the hand still holds A slightly wilted rose And after night comes a day, after rain - a calm The birds startle me awake Tussling at the windows "

Because they are in polish, that for most people in the world is insufferable language.
Krzysztof Cugowski - Co-founder and long-time vocalist of the rock band Budka Suflera. He recorded twelve studio albums with him, including Nothing Hurts, Like Life, whose sales exceeded one million copies. He performed with the band, among others: at Carnegie Hall in New York. He also recorded solo albums and collaborated with Ray Wilson, Gary Brooker and Garou. He also performed together with his sons Wojciech and Piotr as part of the family band Cugowski. He was also a Senator.
Jest taki samotny dom - it sounded quite well, Krzysztof is Christopher, Cugowski - we don't pronounce C as K but you should say something like Tsugowski
Pan Krzysztof ma najlepsze piosenki ❤👌👍ciary przechodzą, pozdrawiam!
the people that joined him at the end are not just some backing vocals, they are well known and respected polish artists

Witam tak dla ciekawostki. Ten utwór powstał w 1975 r (prawie pół wieku temu) i wydany w albumie "Cień Wielkiej Góry" ps posiadam ten album jak i całą dyskografie Budki, zarówno w wersji CD jak i analogu. Pozdrawiam i polecam szczególnie wersję analogową.

Brawo, ta muzyka nie przemija. A ten utwor ma w sobie emocje udzielające się nieznającym języka słuchaczom, ten GŁOS przekazuje te emocje, a tylko prawdziwi artyści to potrafią.
My favorite Budka Suflera song. RIP [*] Romuald Lipko was a master and created real miracles. Great poetic lyrics and real rock music. The extraordinary voice of Krzysztof Cugowski. Everything makes us a legend of Polish music.

Najwspanialszy polski wokalista na równi z Czeslawem Niemenem. Uwielbiam. Polski Freddy Mercury i polski Dimash. Nie używa zadnych sluchawek podczas spiewania/koncertów - pewnie dlatego uchodzi w Polsce za tego co często myli teksty swoich piosenek na scenie.

Hi D! Right, polish old school...;)
WOW 😍😲
Yes you did see him before, performing with his sons. Your reactions are priceless mate
He is from Budka Suflera , you played them before Jolka , Jolka from Woodstock
this is a song from the album "Shadow of the Great Mountain" of the band " Budka suflera", premiered in 1975, a long time ago.
I heard this live in 1998. Just thrill
For me, this is the most beautiful piece of the legendary Polish "Budka Suflera - Jest taki samotny dom". I prefer the studio version where you can hear all the instruments characteristic of the band. This does not change the fact that Krzyszfof Cugowski still has a wonderful vocal. I recommend that you learn more about Budka Suflera's work.
Hey D, the reason you find this singer familiar, he sounds very much like Meatloaf (please listen to him and compare). The words repeating the most in this song are: "and after night comes a day, and after a storm comes a calm, all of a sudden birds wake me up, banging on the windows..." "Kshishtof Tzugovski" is how you pronounce his name, he is a legend in Poland, if you have a chance, please react to the song "Takie tango" (a tango like this), preferably an older version. The young man with long dark hair in the background is his son, he also has an incredible voice. Thank you for your reactions D, you are great!

Najlepsze tłumaczenie, super dokładne,
Rain struck, night broke out, an empty mansion by the road In the cathedrals of trees, in the visors of the mountains, a Wagnerian tone Behind the stained glass with strange glass, empty chambers are cold Time is broken into gray dust, a dead, empty mansion I add wood, because the fire has gone out, the storm is still going on Suddenly a riot of colors and lots of candles, someone playing the violin The gothic doorway leans and squeaks sideways And the white lady flows from them in a brilliant mist The court swirled with us, the flame of red hair I fly over the mountains, I fly with her, she holds a rose in her hand And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows Again, the gray empty house where I took refuge (And after night comes day, and after the storm calm) And the sweetest of all, all to me, on the stained glass (Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows) On the road again, you have to go on the road, immerse yourself in life (And after the night comes the day, and after the storm, calm) Although a slightly withered rose is still in my hand (Suddenly the birds wake me up by pounding on the windows) And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows. Krzysztof Cugowski is born 1950.
The title you said very good. Maybe without confidence but words were prenounce good! :D But it is true it is hard language.

Translation of the lyrics if you are interested is in this a little bit different version of this video : Budka Suflera - Jest taki samotny dom (English subtitles) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJN10ZmBdKadfZc.html
Zrozumiałem tytuł. 👏👏👏
I Beata Kozidrak ! Tylko Urszuli bratkuje.
Hey, D! Polish writing is (mostly) phonetic, unlike English. Vowels are the same vowels in each word. Consonant clusters are the same in each word (however there are some exceptions). Some hints for the future: letter "C" in Polish words is _never_ read like English "K" in "like"; letter "W" in Polish words is _always_ read like English "V" in "love"; letter "J" in Polish words is _always_ read like English "Y" in "eye".
You know his sons from PMA 😊
