"The rain hit, the night blew out. Empty manor by the road. In the tree cathedrals, in the mountain bascinets, A Wagnerian tone..... Behind the mystery of stained glass Chill of empty chambers Time crushed into ashen dust Lifeless, empty manor I add some wood, for the flame went out, Storm is raging on Suddenly, gush of colours, candles light Someone plays the violin Gothic gates crack ajar Creaking, glide aside White lady flowing forth through them In a diamond mist The manor spinned with us A flame of ginger hair Above the mountains, I fly with her A rose in her hand (Choir) And after night comes a day, after rain - a calm The birds startle me awake Tussling at the windows The gray empty house again, Where I took a refuge And the dearest of all, of all dames, On the stained-glass window It is time to get back on the road, Dip back into life Even tough the hand still holds A slightly wilted rose And after night comes a day, after rain - a calm The birds startle me awake Tussling at the windows "

For me, this is the most beautiful piece of the legendary Polish "Budka Suflera - Jest taki samotny dom". I prefer the studio version where you can hear all the instruments characteristic of the band. This does not change the fact that Krzyszfof Cugowski still has a wonderful vocal. I recommend that you learn more about Budka Suflera's work.

Hey D, the reason you find this singer familiar, he sounds very much like Meatloaf (please listen to him and compare). The words repeating the most in this song are: "and after night comes a day, and after a storm comes a calm, all of a sudden birds wake me up, banging on the windows..." "Kshishtof Tzugovski" is how you pronounce his name, he is a legend in Poland, if you have a chance, please react to the song "Takie tango" (a tango like this), preferably an older version. The young man with long dark hair in the background is his son, he also has an incredible voice. Thank you for your reactions D, you are great!

Rain struck, night broke out, an empty mansion by the road In the cathedrals of trees, in the visors of the mountains, a Wagnerian tone Behind the stained glass with strange glass, empty chambers are cold Time is broken into gray dust, a dead, empty mansion I add wood, because the fire has gone out, the storm is still going on Suddenly a riot of colors and lots of candles, someone playing the violin The gothic doorway leans and squeaks sideways And the white lady flows from them in a brilliant mist The court swirled with us, the flame of red hair I fly over the mountains, I fly with her, she holds a rose in her hand And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows Again, the gray empty house where I took refuge (And after night comes day, and after the storm calm) And the sweetest of all, all to me, on the stained glass (Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows) On the road again, you have to go on the road, immerse yourself in life (And after the night comes the day, and after the storm, calm) Although a slightly withered rose is still in my hand (Suddenly the birds wake me up by pounding on the windows) And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows And after the night comes the day, and after the storm there is calm Suddenly the birds wake me up, banging on the windows. Hey, D! Polish writing is (mostly) phonetic, unlike English. Vowels are the same vowels in each word. Consonant clusters are the same in each word (however there are some exceptions). Some hints for the future: letter "C" in Polish words is _never_ read like English "K" in "like"; letter "W" in Polish words is _always_ read like English "V" in "love"; letter "J" in Polish words is _always_ read like English "Y" in "eye".

If your last name was McDonald, would you want someone to call you MakDonald - just because it was easier for them to say it? No, Cugowski is Cugowski, that's it, you can't say that any other way. This is just rude.
