hey , does it go well with reusable stainlee steel capsules? i want to buy the machine only for reusable capsules, Original capsules or matching capsules are not profitable, not varied, and also the whole matter of the synthetic milk in the capsule which is supposed to be a portion of milk for an espresso portion, instead of regular normal milk, it really does not seem good to me. thanks a lot in advance

My major niggle with this model is the omission of any water level light, especially as the water tank is out of view at the rear of the machine. Compare to the similarly priced tassimo its drinks are creamier but the actual process includes a lot more flagging around.

Makes sense but a water low light like on the tassimo would be such a simple addition. The fact you have to turn your machine periodically to check the water is an inconvenience.

Hi apologies for the confusion. Do you mean the water in coffee capsules? Yes it is pretty normal :) as long as you selected the correct water level it your coffee is good. Just drain the capsules before throwing.

Hi please make sure to use clean drinking water everytime. We’re currently in the Netherlands and it is safe here to drink water from tap. So just make sure you are using clean drinking water in your dolce gusto coffee machine. 👌👍

The water level is in every coffee capsules. This is an automatic coffee machine, you just need to fill the water tank with water. There's a max indication in the side of it and put your coffee capsules in. Then follow the water level depending on each Dolce Gusto coffee capsules that you have. No it is an automatic machine. It automatically turns off when not in use after 5mins. But better to remove it when no ones in the house

It depends on the coffee capsule actually. Like the new flavors for ex coconut and almond caffe latte they only have one capsule with milk already.

Hi this is an automatic coffee machine. It means you need dolce gusto compatible capsules to make coffee :) you should also consider how your mom likes her coffee.

Interesting question. It is possible but we wouldn’t recommend actually. As per this article here: findanyanswer.com/goto/382354 ”Why you shouldn’t use milk with a coffee maker Milk contains proteins that are not present in water. This means that, by heating the milk up inside the machine, you will cause bacteria to develop. This could cause the machine to become unsanitary and it would cause future coffees to taste bad. It could even cause the machine to get clogged.”

I don't think it's wise to put milk instead of water because the water from the machine fills the capsules. The capsules contain milk and coffee powder, and when they are filled with water, the device makes cappuccino.

Hi we appreciate your comment. We just want to share our thoughts and hopefully this will help you choose the right coffee machine for you. If you want to buy a coffee machine for a good coffee experience at home, then both are good since they have the same coffee capsules. It just depends on which coffee flavor you like best. If you aim for design then choose which one suits you or your kitchen. For us this MiniMe is our starter coffeemachine and it works really good. We’ve been using it for 3 months now everyday and we haven’t experienced any issues yet. This MiniMe is just simple, easy to use and clean plus we bought it at a good price. For us the only downside is that, the coffee capsules are a bit costly for a ”maintenance” coffee if you’re a coffee lover. But if you’re used to Starbucks coffee everyday then this would be a good alternative during this pandemic time. But this MiniMe works really good for us since my husband now works from home and with its easy and fast operation you’ll enjoy your good coffee at home at any time of the day. Good luck 😉

Hi Krups machine don’t have frother but usually if u make a dolce gusto latte capsules it froths a bit

You shouldn't fill the tank up with water all the way, half fill it up. I have a bigger nescafe dolce gusto machine. I have adapted for small pods too

Could I empty these pods and use them in my cafe venezia? 😅

Yes it’s plastic. Everything but it’s a hard type of plastic. Only the water tank is a bit thin

I cant determine how loud is yours but it is indeed a loud machine but no problems with that. You can hear it from this vid too. Have you tried descaling it yet? It happened to me actually when I forgot to refill the water tank and I had already started it, it was louder than the usual.

@@TheViajeros I have only had the machine since 3weeks brand new from the company . So I don’t think it would need descaling so soon? In the video yours didn’t sound as loud as mine. In actual fact the entire machine vibrates whilst it’s on and almost wobbles off the counter top if left unattended !!!
