Kruleboyz quick and easy
Greeting fellow swamp dwellers. In this weeks installment I'm still hot on the Dominion train. I wanted to make a fast and effective recipe for the Kruleboyz as I'm imagining there will be a lot of new people picking up AoS 3.0 as well as some veterans wanting to get an army on the tabletop quickly.
You'll need an airbrush for this but I promise it's used in a very simple way.
Colors and ingredients used:
From Vallejo: Black, Deck Tan, Buff, Green brown, Olived Brown, German Camo Pale Brown, Pale Sand, and Gunmetal Gray.
From P3: Khador Red Base
From the Citadel Contrast Range: Plaguebearer Flesh, Wyldwood
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
From Secret Weapon: Dark Earth Weathering Powder
Quite the list but recipes often require those specific ingredients. I'd like to add that if you don't have Dimensional Magic a gloss medium will work instead.

I went to monument hobbies and bought the synthetic 6 and 4, couldn't pull the trigger on your brush package this time. Well they came in today and though haven't used them yet but they are by far the nicest brushes I've owned. Will be trying them out tomorrow!!! Thanks for the share Sam!

Well, it's freakig good! I also wanted to assemble an army of Kruleboyz, starting with the Dominion box, but the crisis broke out, and I only had enough money for a smallest starter set. But nevertheless I have one Kruleboyz unit now. So respect to you as an ork herder from an ork herder.

Hey man- don't want to intrude, but I was just wandering if you were still moving forward with your channel. Been a few months since you've posted anything, and hopefully everything's alright in your life. If you're done, I totally understand, and would like to thank you for all the hours of content you provided us. If it's the opposite, well, I can wait around, too. The main thing that matters is that you're in the place you need to be- the rest of it is inconsequential. Take care man.

At the 5:25 mark, contrast wyldwood is slathered on to warm colors. Would strong tone have a similar effect, or is it lacking the pigment punch of the contrast line?

I think its time for me to get an airbrush...
Great stuff. We did chuckle at the end…..That Orc painter……Vincent……the blinded leading the blind. That’s because he copied a certain black and white spray sketch but…….used his brain instead of using his…..eyes. The code is dark, the gap is wide and widened by……The Vincents.
what kind of parchment paper do you use for your wet palette? The paint sticks to the stuff I use where as it seems to flow off of whatever you've got going on
How do you keep your brushes to a fine point while painting. The longer I paint the more it splits and wont go back to a fine point
What were we doing before contrast paint came along?
All I can say about that one figure is "Aren't you a little short to be a khruleboy?" I'm sorry but it was just too easy I couldn't resist!

Well, of course it's already been said, but I gotta tell you- just taking the little bastard off at the ankles adds so much visual interest, it's not even funny. Apparently the holes in my miniature building skills are large enough to toss a cat through. Who'd've thought taking away would add so much. Enjoy your coming weekend.
