The thing that amazes me is that the people who buy from Kruk seem happy with their purchases based on their feedback even though they’re buying like 99%+ common. Great video. Thanks.

Kruk advertises in Beckett magazine, and I've seen their ads pop up on card websites. Also John Kruk was a baseball player for the Phillies in the 90's,that may be where you're getting that from.

That's exactly why I kept saying John Kruk! My mistake! I realized it myself after re-watching the video before uploading!

for people like me, it would take me weeks just to get my commons divides by sports, and then by eras...seems like more work than it would be worth

Kruk has done some great deals. I've bought thousands of dollars from them over the years on ebay.

In the early days of my channel, I used to be able to go over to his store and find some great 8 x 10 autos for not very much. Had some good players on them, and then I could in return have some items to put in contests and giveaways, or add to the auto collection.

So my question is shipping cost. Packing 5,000 lot for $10, Im guessing it would be $15 to ship. Is this your understanding as well?

They have a huge following and a lot of credibility, I doubt small sellers trying to sell bulk commons would have as much luck realizing those prices, this is similar to Greg Morris getting premium prices for cards that sell for much normally.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the content! I usually buy boxes from my local card shop so I don't have to pay for shipping. Otherwise, your only option is buying them online.

Kruk cards has been around forever. I have been dealing with them since the 80s. They use to advertise in all kinds of magazines before the internet. I have been a dealing since 1986 and a collector since 1974 so of course I would know the old timers..LOL I have also set up at 6 National Sportscard Conventions since they started it. You get to meet a ton of people at those.

Nice video. Never heard of Kruk Cards either until I came here. Am going down 'rabbit holes' to see how different people sell in bulk/sell non stars/commons/base cards. 😁 I have a ton from the last few years, but not selling for 15.00 per 5,000 lol. That's A THIRD of a PENNY PER CARD (.003)! 🤣

How in the world did that kid get that interview?! It also helps to be consistent on KZread as well...he has a hand full of videos, and they're all from last year.

payroll will be around 1 mil for that crew, they are not making 70-80k a year each playing with cards while working for somebody else. these are $15-20 hr positions, and that is being generous since its a lower cost location in MI

@@ApexCardsLLC Yes, of course, some making 100-150k and some making 30k, probably around a 50k average or less. At the same time, they are located in an area without a hot labor market, so hourly wage is lower. S20-25 an hour would be stronger salary in that situation, where that is entry level if located near or in a major city or metro area.

Very interesting. I am an up-and-coming bulk tcg reseller, and the main marketplace for tcg cards, TCGplayer, is rumored to be adding sports cards this summer. Since I'm already selling on there, I've been thinking of adding sports cards to my other product lines. Have you heard anything about this yet, and, if so, do you have any thoughts?
