Join me on my multi part Solo trip to Kruger which started on the 13th of Feb 2023......... One of the worst floods in the past few years was busy happening. Plans had to be changed, but, it's Kruger, it's all good.
With 4 days left of my stay, I managed to change my accommodation from Satara to Punda Maria. Was a massive drive, but a hugely rewarding and worth while effort. 2 Lifers added ,White throated Bee-eaters and a European Honey Buzzard. Loads of rain, torrents of water flowing through the camp site, still ended up being a magical stay as always.

Kruger as a solo trip is the greatest experience you can possibly ever have. It does have its drawbacks that you probably miss a ton of stuff if you go too fast, but otherwise I can highly recommend it. It is great sharing it with people whom enjoy it, but I get to film it and share stuff later so best of both worlds. There is nothing like sitting quietly at some spot without the expectation of having to say anything at all.........
