Another great video Les! So different seeing Kruger in the green season from our usual visits in Jun-July. Despite having to work a bit harder you are still coming up with some great sightings and the gorgeous green grass really makes the videos pop 👍

Difficult to see how big the pride was as they kept popping in and out of the bush but at least three females. We go back in the next episode and you'll see how strong a female lion is when she drags the carcass away from all the prying cameras!

Very nice video! What month was this? We’re still trying to decide when to go. I like the look of all the green grasses. Cheers!

Lots of different tracks from Epidemic sound. Takes hours and hours to find the right tracks!

@oldcodgerwithacamera hello! I was curious about the single lane dirt road so hardly used that it had grass down the center.... almost a 4x4 road. Didn't know there were roads so little used in the Kruger. Have you ever thought of using Thermal Imaging Equipment for spotting wildlife in the brush? Do you have difficulties with the load sharing while in SA? As always, thanks for sharing!

@@Jonathan_and_Tammie That is the S147 one of our favourite roads. It was only opened a few years ago and doesn't appear on some older maps. It is also one-way so no problems with traffic. Thermal imaging might be frustrating, you might know something is there and never actually see it! Load shedding is only mildly inconvenient. All the camps have generators which kick in within a few minutes (15 at most). When the power is off the card machines at the petrol stations don't seem to work although they are always working in the shops so if you need cash for petrol you can always get it at the shop.
