Totally the same happened to me few years ago. I realized that the big music machine made me believe that KRS is no more,how stupid I was. I found him in "saving the studio" and then listen and listen cause I need someone, sometimes to show me the good direction and I am not ashamed of having that need. Stay safe my friend!

I respect KRS heavily. I think I understand his message on a basis of righteousness, that said I think his statement about "acting twenty and won't make it to thirty" was more metaphorical than literal and upon more reflection I find the whole speech phenomenal

Yes probably meaning won't evolve and mature to the required level for 30 at 30. Meaning still stuck in a 20 year olds mindset at 30. Im 31 and I see a lot people of my generation around my way are in this trap with the drugs, alcohol and party lifestyle. Still indulging the same way they were in their early 20s with little mental progression and are now bearing the consequences of not thinking for their 30 year old self, some even do actually die for real in regards to that, coz their bodies at 30plus can't handle what it could at 20 but they still excessively lived without a care
