Honestly, the tentacles give a more obvious death flag compared to the rock-digging fish in the second area I thought it only appeared at night and bam, it hunted me as I was dredging. Since I panicked, I could not escape well in the narrow passages and died

I thought im pretty bad at driving with my max engine,hitting everything. And then there is kronii, hitting everything with her 2 weak engine

Maybe the game has an in-game microphone which tells it when the player is getting cocky and changes the difficulty from normal to Lovecraftian nightmare to teach them a lesson!
