Takk! I hadn't thought of that, and I sing/am a singer. Right before I read this I'd sang the melody of first line and realized, oh this is so good to sing. I'm always amazed how ALL songs use the same notes there on one can easily play on a piano (or other instrument if one can play them) and yet each song has a different beauty and melody and sounds all its own. This song is so beautiful and makes everyone happy. It is both the very positive message and also the gorgeous pattern of the interval changes across it, in their own special melody, that makes it so I think. Thanks for spurring me to write this so I could say thanks for underlining for me with your note that I can sing this song myself, the more the better, and that will be a great addition to my life. Post note: You also remind me, I need to find (!!!) the great song celebrating western Norway that I got from relatives when I was there and sing that more too. (Because I don't know Norwegian yet still, I need to translate the words into English. But with google I should be able to do that. I COULD also maybe make a recording of what the Norwegian sounds like in the song and sing it that way. Thanks again for spurring this in me too.☺)
