Even though, Shemar Moore(Malcolm) works in primetime tv now, it's good that he would come back for a special appearance on Y&R for this. He was on Y&R for a long time. In fact, he owes that to Kristoff St. John(Neil) because it Kristoff who got him on Y&R which really got his acting career going. My condolences
I remember reading somewhere that when Kristoff's son committed suicide in 2014, Kristoff wasn't the same anymore after that, So sad.
This has to be really hard for shemar to do this scene, because they were so close it brings tears to your eyes
Heartfelt 😢😢😭😫😫💔🙏🏽
The Man who played The Minister played Will Palmer in Roots: The Next Generations who was Alex Haley's Maternal Grandfather. Kristoff worked with him as he played Young Alex Haley who first heard the Family Stories most notably about the Ole African who went into the Forest to get Wood to make a Drum, and the Slave Catchers got him and he got sold at Anapolis and it took Four Generations and 100 Years to be free.
Hey did anybody know that Kristoff personally wanted Shemar Moore to be his brother on Y&R. The producers asked him who he wanted to play his brother and Kristoff personally chose Shemar to play Malcolm.
It had to be very hard for him to do this scene, the closeness and friendship for so long, it's really sad and hard for him to keep it together but he did a great job for his brother ♥️♥️
A nice tribute Malcolm.😢😢😢😢😢
This was hard for Shemar no doubt. Kristoff got him the job at Y n R
I cried when your brother passed away on the show of Young and the Restless
No one else could have done this better.
That slight little tug on his suit jacket lapel as Malcolm stood up before walking to the front...gets me every time...

Yes lord lol . I can't stop watching
I don’t even think they had lines for this episode. This was uncensored unscripted raw emotion and when Malcolm calls him his brother he doesn’t mean Malcolm and Neil it’s Shemar and Kristoff. Rip Neil gone too soon. 3 decades of Neil Winters.
Shemar stated in an interview that he had this speech drawn up into a picture type thing ( my lame description) and it's hanging on a wall in his home because it was everything he had in his heart.
Now this is acting☆☆☆☆☆

Emotions were real. I've been watching Y&R from the start. They were very close, close as brothers!!
All of their emotions were real and unscripted. 😢
I do wonder if the writers bothered with a script. It's obvious the emotion is real.

The writers wrote a script and Shemar Moore said it said everything they were feeling
In Italia febbre d'amore R. I.. P. ❤️
This is surreal that they are acting when he really did die.

They were saying goodbye to a friend, brother and dad. No acting needed
He play the movie cry mine and r&y and
Kristoff' s first wife was interviewed for People, she mentioned he struggled with alcoholism and bipolar disorder. I had no idea. I recall when Neil struggled with booze, but never knew about his issues in real life. Naturally, I knew he was not perfect.
@Andrea: I can hear you; don't worry, you weren't the only one speaking to the screen that day.
dear god give us back kristoff st. john and will give u rob beckett !!!
Neil winter 🥶 ❄️ and family
7:10 - 7:11 he did 🙏🏻
You know this is really weird seeing Actors eulogize a person they knew in a TV scene -- it's like they aren't really telling the truth or they are not really acting, but it's a perfect mind-trip for an actor to put themselves in that type of realm where a person you knew and loved died but you are pretending to do the eulogy... amazing craft of deception, truth, and authenticity of the hypocrite.... Just Amazing Charlotte!
Neil winter 🥶 ❄️ brother spake out and lily and merry wedding 👰

did they bring back Victoria Rowells character for this?

The Drucilla character was not brought back, as she is to remain presumed dead. However, Victoria Rowell did return as herself for a tribute show dedicated to him that week.
That reverend looks like the harlem nights boxer.

@@marcelparker6755 Pardon the pun though when i thought about it. But he was alive at this time last year. I lost a son myself, it does wear on a person. But looking at highlights showed that he had a JOYFUL SOUL. AND LIKE SHEMAR SAID IN SO MANY WORDS LETS CELEBRATE HIS LIFE. BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE NO DERRICK MORGAN. IF IT WASNT FOR KRISTOPH. NOW DERRICK MORGAN DONE MORPHED INTO S.W.A.T. AND THE COUNTLESS OTHER PROJECTS SHEMAR HAS DONE. BE COOL MY FRIEND.

@@leomartin5965 I'm just seeing this now, and very well said. Also, I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child. Healing always takes time, but I'm sure that your son loved you very much before he left this Earth... and love is everything.
Were they acting or was it real raw emotions????????????

@@daveyhouston You have to be strong, it's very hard but your child would want you to live. Our loved ones when they pass away go to heaven and when it's our time we will be with them again. Until that time comes we need to be strong, remember the good times and be happy for the time we had with them. Davey, pls live every moment because that is what your child would want for you!!

No way was Christel’s “I’m sorry I can’t” acted. That was too good. My guess is she had a lot of lines memorized but just couldn’t do it at that point.
