  • @edmartinezdj9034

    @edmartinezdj9034

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@allenxavier6073 His problems with consistency and his deficiencies compared to Powell come from just 1 place and is not his shot. Conditioning. While Kleber athleticism is pretty decent, Powell's is borderline elite, and while Kleber tends to start the season strong and wear down after march, Powell is a strong finisher on the last months of the season. Probably works harder too. There is why RC seems to prefer him. Kleber technically is vastly superior to Powell, has a good mid and long range jumper, hooks, can do a turn around and is great at fakes.Powell is just a dunk and lay up guy that handles the ball(and finishes) slightly better. But Kleber has the potential to be an elite shot blocking specialist, because he has a great standing jump and reach, and a great second jump. He basically bullied Zion the first time they played, gave him like 6 blocks... And Powell's defense is quite meh.

    Kristaps Porzingis is probably the most athletic 7'3+ player I've ever seen besides Ralph Sampson (7'4). If Sampson had been playing in today's NBA, he'd be encourage to splash triples too. Yao Ming (7'6) was also quite athletic (just a bit less in comparison to either KP or Sampson), but his skill level and coordination (for his height) is no doubt superior to either KP and Sampson.

    @@adidzis Every time I watched KP as a Knick he played very well and the fans gave him big ups. His teammates seemed to like playing with him also. So I was astounded at the trade.

    @@dieseldog00 I guess that Max Kellerman has pointed right the main reason of this trade: NY is famous of its streetball traders. And the FO of Knicks are just streetball traders and nothing more.
