After the first album, Chris SMITH (the light 1) didn't seem as if he was into the whole "music thing" anymore. In interviews and performances he seemed to be a recluse (even in videos), as if he's just going along with the everything because he has to. It never seemed to look enjoyable for him as time went on after their first release. That's why he seemed to adapt to the absence of fame when it was over. He didn't want it and the other one ate it up. Probably why he (KELLY) turned to drugs.

This is such a rare performance! I think this is when Aaliyah was riding with so def and bad boy heavy back then. It kind of hurt me in the heart that her and Chris Kelly were sitting at the same table in the beginning.

After the first album, Chris SMITH (the light 1) didn't seem as if he was into the whole "music thing" anymore. In interviews and performances he seemed to be a recluse (even in videos), as if he's just going along with the everything because he has to. It never seemed to look enjoyable for him as time went on after their first release. That's why he seemed to adapt to the absence of fame when it was over. He didn't want it and the other one ate it up. Probably why he (KELLY) turned to drugs.
