Finally, the build I was waiting for from the literal moment I picked up this weapon when the game released.

I love the Krell Axe and Ritualist combo. It's so much fun. Also shock feels like the best of the status effects, at least that I've saw. It seems to be the one that can hit the hardest.

When band of the fanatic is fixed is it still worth using it in dot builds or are we just abusing it while it’s broken?

In stead of duration I use the staus ring that does the 15% status damage to negate red ring and I don't have ahane so I use the alumni ring but in stead of using the krell axe which I dubbed the Kratos axe for thus build I like to run the spirit sword with the shocker mod the sword will proc the mod with 1 swipe of the dodge charge it works stupid good for mobs I do swap for bosses to krell axe this is my favorite build so far the shock orbs go crazy when you spawn like 3 or 4 then run the shock handgun just wipes things

i did some spreadsheet math, and found out what is making the Krell Axe do so much damage / it appears to be a bug applied ONLY to Krell Axe, not to Enigma, neither to Overflow. Base proccing overload goes like this - deals weapon damage, then applies overload - overload does weapon damage and then it's status damage once per 5 seconds per duration. If you boost your status damage on Enigma, it only increases the status damage portion - so you do normal weapon damage, normal weapon damage times the number of overload ticks, and then the number of overload ticks increased by status damage - the base amount of ticks is 3 - one instantly, and one per 5 seconds of duration. With Krell Axe, the weapon damage portion in the status scales with status damage, and scales with duration inversely to how for example Blood Jewel is bugged - Blood Jewel does its base damage, which can't be increased by status damage, and spreads it over your whole duration - resulting in crazy low dps. Krell Axe's weapon damage portion of the DoT SCALES with status damage, and is equal to "Krell Axe damage*status damage modifier*duration/5" (duration/5 = the number of ticks - which is one less tick than Overload itself does for some reason) - resulting in crazy high dps, and given overload is all about big numbers, which are frontloaded, Hits big like this.

@@ignatiuspennyfeather232 Not yet, still works in-game, wouldn't be surprised if they fix it with new dlc, given this whole dlc was pretty status oriented, so they may have left it as a "feature" (shame about the bleed though) for the time being

I see... i was testing timekeepers after people commented on my build saying it's not really doing anything for me. I'm like, I'm clearly hitting harder, but the damage doesn't seem to be coming from the coil pop. I just assumed the game was showing the damage in the blue number, which... it is lol. As u said, its buffing shock, where i assumed it was just showing the numbers wrong.

How can I find this mutator that you use in Axe?

Should run Nebula sidearm. Corrosion makes em take 20% more damage and with this setup it lasts 63 or so seconds, and deals a respectable amount of damage on its own

Yes nebula is never a bad option. Do be aware however we already have corrosion from the miasma skill and it only increases your damage by 10% not 20%. But it is always a very nice sidarm to have since it's mod is really strong.

Been waiting for this one! Yeah I know so many build's have the ahanae. In this case, is it viable without it? Like using BOG, BOD, Fae Warrior or alumni? Thanks!

You'll lose like 10% damage and only 25% range with the burden of the destroyer, power complex, or offering stone as nifty substitutes for damage

Just get the handler archetype on Survivor Hardcore, start at Forbidden Grove and kill the doe at the end, very easy Ahanae ring. Handler main gun melts bosses and the dog doesn’t let mobs kill you.

Is the same possible for other builds? Like going for corrosion instead of shock? I have not played since the game patched, but i am trying amp up the damage on ritualist, but so far i think the damage of the class is just lacking?

Ya it should be. Just switch all the shock items for the other element. Corrosion we already know is good and I imagine fire is pretty much the same way with talisman of the sun.

Cool. I also feel like one particular element probably is better for more damage then the rest? Like corrosion gives the hidden 10% all damage, but fire seems like it just stacks bigger damage numbers then the rest?@@SheenShots

@@MrTurtleliciousI run fire with Ritualist/medic/misty step, hellfire/maelstrom (117 dps with max dots), and tranquil heart with healing effectiveness/health/elemental dmg. I like well rounded builds for solo/coop. If you are up against fire resistance, you got krell and acid mutator on both melee/shotgun.

There is a mutator that reduces the stamina cost of charged melees. I don't remember the name right now but it is very good for the krell axe.

Thanks for the reply. Funnily enough I got stormbringer from an abberation earlier today. The build is lots of fun but a bit squishy for my taste so at the moment I mostly use your "most low effort" video. Though with that one I'm currently stuck on custodian's eye with empath so I'm gonna try one of the others on him. @@SheenShots

not as crazy as pre-patched star fuel nuclear fire build, but this is still overkill in most situation lmao. Solid stuff, keep up the good work.

The Red Ring of Death does not give anything to this build except 10% less damage overall unless you want some additional focus on the other status effects but it'll reduce the damage of the shock and overloaded. Exchange it for Stone of Malevolence. Neither does Voltaic Rondure or Overflow in terms of Overloaded since you can only have a single Overloaded effect on a target at a time and it chooses the higher one. It'd probably be more optimal to run Creeping Mist + Fetid Wounds on a long gun, then Hellfire + Maelstrom on the handgun. Bleeding does nothing for this build except.. bleeding. So one can also exchange Miasma for Eruption since Eruption does max damage to any target that has a single Fire, Shock and Corrosion on it (300%). Beauty of this build is that long gun/handgun are flex and one can really go whichever one wants. Even Stormbringer is flexable. You can also run Shocker, works similarly. I prefer Stormbringer though.

This is incorrect. The red ring of death doubles shock application from the krell axe. You get two separate numbers instead of just one which leads to much higher damage. Also enemies can have several stacks of shock on them. I hate to be blunt, but you didn't watch the video, and are just wrong about how this works. Throw the stuff on and try it out first, and you will see what I mean.

Dunno why you're getting so many empathy bosses compared to me. I have yet to see a single empathy modifier ever since I stared using tranquil heart... That and the surge of elemental resist has me wondering if modifiers are programmed to counter your build upon 1st meeting the boss

I believe it is one of the newer ones added in with the Halloween event. So Abberations that randomly spawn in throughout areas should drop it. I think their loot pool is random for the different mutators but I can neither confirm nor deny this theory.

Yes this will still work and very well. BUT it will not be as ridiculous as it currently is. Right now it melts bosses just by throwing the Krell axe like 4 or 5 times and the shock does everything. When it is fixed it will just feel more like a balanced and good build.

Does medic need to be at lvl 10?

There is none, no ring does as well for damage as ahanae. Grab a friend or LFG for Yaesha hardcore, roll the forbidden grove start and survive the middle boss, one tap the doe and boom, you have the ring!

What is benefit of running medic instead over alchemist ?

Alchemist is more of a utility class that provides more benefits when running coop than anything else. Medic provides threes different skills that cooldown faster for your healing. I chose alchemist because the life saving skill it has is quite fun and also provides good healing. Just has a higher cooldown compared to medic. Both provide the same damage bonus though so you can switch out either easily.

Krell axe its currently bugged paired with timekeepers, so it will get fixed

The guide is right. Go beat Yaesha Hardcore on the Ravager. you kill the doe and don't even need to fight him. Can even do it on survivor.

Wrong choice of Amulet. I run a similar build, but use different mutators and main weapon. You can basically just spread bleed like a plauge across the whole map and everything just bleeds out before you reach them

Well first off don't come into a comment section and say wrong anything because its called build variation so people can use whatever they want. Second, this is a krell axe build. Krell axe does shock. And the amulet grants the most increase to shock. This is the best way to run krell axe currently for massive shock damage. Go try it, or don't, but it is clearly not the wrong amulet if you watch the video.

@@SheenShots Krell Axe can apply Bleed as well. So not only can you stack Shock, you can stack Bleed. That is x2 Affixes. Not only that, but for each element applied you get a explotion for 20% of the full element damage. So you get Shock, Bleed and chain explotions. And yes, it is build variation. Point was to not just focus on the Shock of the Axe, but the Bleed it can spread. I did exactly what you did, start to finish. Just throw my Axe

It's fun man. Doing crazy and ridiculous stuff to bosses on the hardest difficulty is a blast. And everyone wants to check it out so why not tell people how to do it. I always appreciate people watching my videos, but I am not going to change how I play the game because some people don't like certain keywords.

Oh, so they should just leave all the broken stuff in the game, and no one should ever mention super strong stuff that makes the game a joke. If it wasn't for content creators and people talking on Reddit/Discord...it would take a LOT longer for the Devs to see issues and OP stuff. Some of the most cheesey builds have been brought to people's attention by KZreadrs and GunFire fixed them, as they should, or you just end up with everyone running the same 2 or 3 builds until we all get bored and the game dies.
