All I know is that I have the Armor jig, and I absolutely love it! Their marketing dept sucks. They don't promote thr product like they should. Woodcraft stopped carrying it b/c it didn't sell. Nobody's ever heard of it. They also have a mini jig 2 use on larger boards. Problem is they never have it n stock. Sad. Such an excellent product. Whoever makes the decisions 4 that company doesn't know what thr doing.

Great comment drsteele. I do agree. They have a great tool. Super user friendly. Armor Tool is going to send me a mini jig to review. It looks really cool as well. The collar adjustment is probably my favorite part. I wish they could have better marketing too. Great point. Thanks for watching and your excellent comment. 👍

Awesome well-balanced video! I've been liking my Kreg 720 for sheet goods (90-degree rotation is amazing for cabinetry), but I can see why the Armor would be the best for most users due to the better build quality. It's been sad to see Kreg slip in the quality department over the past couple of years. Also, well done with the video (capture + editing), I've learned a few new angles from this video!

Thanks Cole. I just watched you video last week about the 720. Super informative. I've rarely used the 90 degree rotation. Maybe because I mount it to a board. But, I've put some big pieces upright. No problem. I certainly like the kreg 720. I'm not jumping ship. I think they are both top notch. I agree with you. I did not see this video before I purchased the 720 Pro. That said, I am not in business and do occasional projects. The Kreg has flimsy connections for those wing boxes so I may eventually mount them as you did on a board. No other person works uses my tools so they do not see abuse. A bit of patience and I will do fine with the Kreg 720 Pro. Perhaps, your audience will buy the other one if they haven't bought the Kreg. I may have too.

I appreciate your videos on these jigs. Right now I'm thinking between a Massca or Armor. I'm surprised there's so little variety with this class of jig. 3:50 Drill bushings are indestructible if they're made right. 4:35 I've seen several videos with the 720 and the thing visibly flexes every time. I'm glad you point it out with the ruler and showing the gap. Maybe it works just fine but it doesn't speak well for the overall build quality.
