This video is so good. But he forgot to mention one thing. Like he said Qh2 becomes FADH2 same ways that GTP gets converted to ATP, hence kerb cycle produces 2 GTP meaning it produces 2 ATP. thank me later. Keep studying, peace out

Thanks for the information.. I was thinking about the same...does GTP enters ETC or directly get converted... Then I thought of its a substrate level phosphorylation so obviously it won't enter ETC.. You r a keen observer like me 😃

there should be some corrections 1. its succinyl-CoA synthetase not synthase 2. during above reaction occurs the produced GTP is turned into GDP and using that energy release one ADP molecule is converted into ATP

succinyl coA converted to succinate. The enzyme is succinyl coA SYNTHETASE not SYNTHASE. SYNTHASES and SYNTHETASES are different 1st one is class 4 & 2nd one is class 6.
