I still remember the day I discovered who this band is. I was home one weekend from Mississippi Valley State University, yes, an HBCU. It was on MTV and I was like, oh yea, gotta add to my Testament, Megadeth, et al, collection. Man, I wanted to be in a thrash/speed metal band so bad! I was gonna be the black D. Mustaine or C. Shuldiner....or Lemmy with the bass! Love those memories!!

Awesome. Now this is one of my favorite metal videos of all time. Back in 1994, I bought an old thrash compilation VHS video called Doomsday News featuring bands like Mordred, Voivod, Rage, Celtic Frost and Watchtower and this music video appeared on the VHS. Classic memories. Hail Kreator.

When this was released, Kreator got popular with most American metal heads. Before this, only the TRUE metal freaks even knew who Kreator was. Now it is 30 years later and in my opinion, Kreator is the best metal band ever AND they are making their best music ever since Sami joined the band and they released their NEW style of "live recording" with Violent Revolution. German Thrash Rules! And even though Mille is sort of "anti-religion", my username is true....Mille Petrozza is God!!!! Metallifans, eat your friggin hearts out....this is real metal and that garbage that Metallica releases is just that...GARBAGE!

Germany makes the BEST metal. If you take Kreator (in my opinion, they are not only the best metal band ever, they also are the most innovative AND sound as good live as they do on their CD's....recording their last 2 albums live may have something to do with that as Hordes of Chaos was recorded live with no overdubs and Phantom Antichrist was also live with just a few overdubs) along with Sodom, you have 2 bands that shred even Slayer which seems to be the favorite of us Americans, besides me. ...And about the German cars...I just bought a 2001 VW Beetle 1 week ago and just this morning dropped it off at the mechanic as it seems to have an issue with the cooling system. German cars along with most things German are at the top of the line however, just as you said. I bought a used VW with 186,000 miles on it. Since I spent just $1,600 on the car, as long as my repairs don't cost more that $1,600 more, I'll still be happy as I fully expected to have to put some money into it because it is a used car with 186,000 miles on it. Before the car gets warm though, it runs awesome...so I'm just praying that the car does not have a cracked head or something else very expensive wrong with it. I bought it for my wife and she is 100% in love with the Beetle or Bug, as some people call them. German thrash rules...Kreator is the best and Sodom is 2nd best....along with Destruction, you have 3 bands that NO OTHER COUNTRY can match...and I was born and still live in the US. I love my country, but when it comes to THRASH METAL, the Americans are still way behind the Germans. Just look at my username. Mille Petrozza Is God! I've been Kreator's best fan since I first saw them live in 1989. It was on the tour supporting this album, "Extreme Aggression" and they opened the show with my all time favorite song of theirs..."Some Pain Will Last". I'll NEVER forget it.

John Strika It's funny...I recently bought a 2001 VW Beetle as a car to make cool because it ran very well and I got a great price on it. A month later it started overheating. I took it to a VW dealer's service department as I wanted VW guys working on it to make the repairs as good as possible. That same shop has my car and has now had it for 10 weeks. I took it in for an overheating problem, they re-wired my engine fans wrongly making the fans only work when the A/C is turned on and then ran the overheating car for 30 minutes straight. Now, they claim the car has a warped head or cracked cylinder head and are blaming me for it. I can't say German cars suck but surely German car mechanics suck..... here in the US, anyway.

When this was released, Kreator got popular with most American metal heads. Before this, only the TRUE metal freaks even knew who Kreator was. Now it is 30 years later and in my opinion, Kreator is the best metal band ever AND they are making their best music ever since Sami joined the band and they released their NEW style of "live recording" with Violent Revolution. German Thrash Rules! And even though Mille is sort of "anti-religion", my username is true....Mille Petrozza is God!!!! Metallifans, eat your friggin hearts out....this is real metal and that garbage that Metallica releases is just that...GARBAGE!

German and European metal puts American to shame
I fucking find this album utterly restless! Once you hear it, the hate just flows! Germany makes pretty good metal, just the same as they do with cars. : )

Germany makes the BEST metal. If you take Kreator (in my opinion, they are not only the best metal band ever, they also are the most innovative AND sound as good live as they do on their CD's....recording their last 2 albums live may have something to do with that as Hordes of Chaos was recorded live with no overdubs and Phantom Antichrist was also live with just a few overdubs) along with Sodom, you have 2 bands that shred even Slayer which seems to be the favorite of us Americans, besides me. ...And about the German cars...I just bought a 2001 VW Beetle 1 week ago and just this morning dropped it off at the mechanic as it seems to have an issue with the cooling system. German cars along with most things German are at the top of the line however, just as you said. I bought a used VW with 186,000 miles on it. Since I spent just $1,600 on the car, as long as my repairs don't cost more that $1,600 more, I'll still be happy as I fully expected to have to put some money into it because it is a used car with 186,000 miles on it. Before the car gets warm though, it runs awesome...so I'm just praying that the car does not have a cracked head or something else very expensive wrong with it. I bought it for my wife and she is 100% in love with the Beetle or Bug, as some people call them. German thrash rules...Kreator is the best and Sodom is 2nd best....along with Destruction, you have 3 bands that NO OTHER COUNTRY can match...and I was born and still live in the US. I love my country, but when it comes to THRASH METAL, the Americans are still way behind the Germans. Just look at my username. Mille Petrozza Is God! I've been Kreator's best fan since I first saw them live in 1989. It was on the tour supporting this album, "Extreme Aggression" and they opened the show with my all time favorite song of theirs..."Some Pain Will Last". I'll NEVER forget it.

John Strika It's funny...I recently bought a 2001 VW Beetle as a car to make cool because it ran very well and I got a great price on it. A month later it started overheating. I took it to a VW dealer's service department as I wanted VW guys working on it to make the repairs as good as possible. That same shop has my car and has now had it for 10 weeks. I took it in for an overheating problem, they re-wired my engine fans wrongly making the fans only work when the A/C is turned on and then ran the overheating car for 30 minutes straight. Now, they claim the car has a warped head or cracked cylinder head and are blaming me for it. I can't say German cars suck but surely German car mechanics suck..... here in the US, anyway.
