The skilled driver, low tire pressure, and perfect gear ratio made the drive possible. But the real hero in this video is the person who filmed it. I cannot believe how steady it is for the terrain that they are on.

I drove a KrAZ between service and going back to school. It didn't have the special off-road tires like this one, but otherwise it looked exactly the same. Even the left door was not closing well... LOL Very low tech and rough, but nothing seemed to stop them, mud or snow. The company had only one and in the winter they fitted it with an improvised blade in front and it was taken out to plow the snow and pull out stuck cars. This was as close as someone would get to a 'towing service'. :)

hey, im interested in knowing more about it... how hard was it to turn steering wheel when not moving and did the engine brake down hills?

I remember when slurry tankers in our rather wet Northern Ireland, were the dogs-danglies, if they were equipped with "Russians", these being large capacity flotation tyres. I am also quite old, but still got a set of split rim Russian tyres on a log trailer, for the Moss.

Some very awesome driving skills and I can reassure you the machine is as great as a driver, KrAZ is the monster by itself imagine with a full load!

Impressive indeed man ! Totally agree with you ! If you put bad/unexperienced truck drivers into a good piece of machinery, the outcomes are gonna be acceptable at best ! If you put the most fearless/big balled truck drivers in the world into a legendary monstrous russian beast, you will achieve god skilled tasks !

Wait, so the ones in the video isn't full load?! Man, Russian drivers are next plane of existence.

This thing is quite a machine, except the fact that it’s petrol engine takes 3 liters a minute while idling and whole lot more when on the go. URAL is pretty dope truck too. Even GAZ66 is a bit of a legend.

+l2ic3 Yes , but in Spintires , it would have been stuck in mud until cabin doors and unable to move without winching to every tree , if available ! Spintires mud effects are really exagerated , u clearly see trucks sinking , wheels totally disapearing in the ground....

+br39161 In the latest update, the mud was corrected so that doesn't happen now. The hotfix in April fucked the mud up, making the game frustrating as hell, but that is the past now.

2.5 x 6 x 2.5 meters of wood is 37.5 cubic meters of wood. That is about 20 Tons. Two times of truck recomended carrying capacity. It does not seem to mind.

My Grandfather lost his driving licence in one of these when he worked in a Brickyard. He reversed one into the concrete fence of the yard, went over the ditch between it and the road and went through another fence on the other side of the road... He was never one to turn down a drink ;)

Так вот к чему я веду, все:урал, камаз, краз, зил и тд и тп. это все советское в прошлом, но теперь то ссср нет и каждый гордится тем что ему осталось после ссср. Так давайте же не будем устраивать срачи на ровном месте, вам никто не мешает гордится уралами и камазами (и да они тоже из ссср) а вы пожалуйста мешайте нам. 6 лет в лесу здоровье гробил.Можно сказать по асфальту едет,на 66 тут и перед не включал бы,не для связки слов говорю.Чудвище еще то,ОЧЕНЬ слабый двигатель бля такого веса,а внатяг идти развесовка убогая,и дифира не блочатся.Чуть сырость на ровном поле пустой по подножки тонет,а раскачать его уже только вертолетом.Я уж молчу про ,,комфорт,, и органы управления,такие как прямое сцепление и ВЕЧНО не работающий ГУР
