A long but enjoyable version indeed. Sometimes stage performance will be more attractive than the original version. My deep respect to Kraftwerk from India. My all time favorite band.

Grew up listening to this and I've been inspired ever since to try and be as alternative. Totally amazing music that needs to be continuously listened to !!!!

Got the pleasure of seeing this tour !....Kraftwerk are THEE KINGS.

The technology has unquestionably progressed since the Autobahn graced the world. I still find this POV revealing. Ralf (#1) has the full musical keyboard and the "live" vocals, #2 has the mini, and ##3 and 4 each lacks one but has a full alphanumeric keyboard. All appear to process "effects" and volume, I suspect #2 "masters" the tempi, #3 masters the volume, ##3 and 4 sync up (or with) the video. I'd wager #4 orders the pizza, and I daresay by concert's end the group earns one for each! And when Florian was #4 I had no doubt he had no interest in pizza but made sure everything WORKED.

And to think they've been making this music since the late 60s. Icons of icons.

Was there, first time ive seen Kraftwerk and they did all my favourites including a full length version of Autobahn - Awesome

So much for the theory that Kraftwerk just hits a button from their stations and pretends to play. As I see it, there is a ton of werking going on up there. That should shut those people up for a while. Would love to see an entire show from that angle and close ups. Great video.. Thanks for posting!

It's more similar to Rock Band, actually. The song's bpm is set in stone due to the video synchronization, and some of the loops are pre-set, it's up to them to just hit them at the right time and do the vocals. There is a bit of a room for improvisation, but not too much.

It is not about talking shit about Kraftwerk. I got all their albums, singles and CD versions. i listen to the song regularly on my Ipod - no one is saying they are not talented or they are fakes, far from it. The songs are all classics. The only problem, for many, is that there is no difference between what we see here, and having everything pre set on your Mac, hitting a button and the whole track comes out on playback. If you want to pay for that, no problem, as long as you enjoy it.

good to see them tweek song a bit and have fun tone bending, and the visual guy on the end live video jamming . bring back wolfgang Flur and karl bartos for a reunion ,if this is not the last tour i get to see them in Los Angeles . ON July 5th 2022 at the shrine auditorium

I had hoped they'd blend in elements of THIS performance with The 3D Catalogue.. Was a particularly moving performance in spots :)

Lou Lami Hélas, il n'y en a plus qu'un seul "original", Ralf Hütter. Les trois autres n'ont rien à voir avec le vrai groupe Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk ce n'est pas Ralf Hütter tout seul, c'est Ralf Hütter, avec Florian Schneider, Karl Bartos et Wolfgang Flür. Sans eux, le groupe ce n'est plus Kraftwerk. La qualité s'en ressent, et surtout plus aucune nouveauté depuis le départ des autres ...

Bien sûr que non il n'y a aucune nouveauté, leur temps est passé, ils ne vont pas faire de nouvelles chansons. Mais ils ont parfaitement su s'adapter aux différentes époques et modifier leurs chansons pour les remettre au goût du jour

Dominique REGNAULT-COMPAIN oulah je n'ai que la vingtaine et je ne prétends pas avoir votre connaissance du groupe mais je trouve que malgré tout ils ont vraiment su s'adapter, en "remixant" leur morceaux ils ont su rester dans l'ère du temps tout en restant fidèle à leur musique. Cependant je ne connais pas bien l'histoire du groupe ni même les membres

they never use playback, they just made it easier. back then, dozens of notes are hanging on their consoles with the settings for each song. with the digital era, you can now save all settings on the computer with only one press on a button to load this settings.

When the artists express that no photos or videos be taken at the concerts, & people spit right back in their faces by not bothering to respect their wishes...

+kvfive it's called muscle memory + coordination (used to play all instruments). If you think they are not "playing" the music, you are missing out on the riches nuances of same songs played at different dates (which definitely sound different). I know it's hard to get over "seeing" what's happening on the video, but do yourself a favor if you love Kraftwerk music and let your ears be the judge.
