It is nothing similar between kazakh and russian languages. We used to be part of the Soviet Union and therefore we can speak at least two languages (Kazakh, Russian). The Kazakh language belongs to the Turkic family of languages and the Altai language, which makes it related to the Korean language, for example. Also, the Kazakh language is very similar to the Japanese language in many ways, there are many similar words and the grammar is completely identical.

Thank you for the info. Maybe the written language that I saw really was just Russian, then. And giving more listens, yeah, they don't sound anything alike.

@@Lehxra we share the same writing script (which is Cyrillic) with russian though, however we'll switch our alphabet to latin in 2025
Kazakhs Asians, from Asia, Asian appearance, nothing to do with Russia, Russian Europeans, Slavs, 0% no resemblance!
Thank you for reacting to Q-Pop songs! There is no resemblance between Russian and Kazakh - they belong to different language groups. Kazakh language is using a Cyrillics script (invented by the Greeks) but this will change to Latin-based script in a few years.
