Thanks so much for the reaction! I love TAP! So fun and quirky! But the b-sides are really so good! I hope you'll check those out too. Royal Dive has worked with Taeyong for a while, and they've made some great songs together. If you want to check some out, here is a little list: Long Flight (SM Station); Virtual Insanity, Back to the Past, and Gwando (from Shalala album); GTA 1 and Dark Clouds (from Taeyong's SoundCloud); and Lonely (from Taeyong's KZread channel TY Track). Royal Dive also worked with Taeyong on an NCT song called Amino Acid, which they did for a show. In episode 8, they show some behind the scenes of how Taeyong met with Royal Dive to work on the song, and then Taeyong himself actually directed the members while recording. It was very interesting. You also mentioned in response to a previous comment that you were familiar with SQUAR. SQUAR worked with Taeyong on every song on this album other than TAP and 404 Loading, on which he worked with another producer friend Zayson. Yes I have worked with square he helped us on the song "down" for tvxq but also thank you for the info!!

I agree with your points about the chorus. I still really like the song. It's super fun and I like the choreo too. But I guess I was expecting a more impactful (?) chorus. That little dance break and that part towards the end are probably my favorite parts. I think this song was probably the best fit as a title track among all the songs on the album. Judging by shalala I think playful, fun title tracks work really well for him.
