tbh i can't disagree because i enjoyed kpop as a whole the most in 2020 since we were all stuck at home. 2019 still remains my favorite year as a kpop stan because its the year i got into kpop but i had the most growth as a stan in 2020

I’ll admit: people in 2022 doing the retro trend sounds a little dated, but when retro was in its prime, it was fantastic. People love to hate it and say it’s aged as if they weren’t vibing to La Di Da and Mago in 2020. It’s so fun and clean sounding when it’s done right *cough cough not Love In Space*

2020 was technically my first proper year in kpop as I finally decided to stan many more groups (mainly get into girl groups) and I got to experience my first ever comeback as a fan and that's why I regard 2020 as one of my favourite years in kpop. THE no 1 song of 2020 for me is 100% without a doubt la di da, not only cause it was my first ever Everglow comeback but no other song (not just 2020 but in general) has made me feel the same way la di da made me feel after first listen. to this day La di da is one of my most played songs and it's been 2 years already

I want to go back in 2020, so I can hear all of those releases again.

I keep forgetting that most of these songs were from 2020. But looking back at it I think k-pop really came to our rescue that year. The world was falling apart, but the k-pop stayed together.

I don't actually stan Ateez, but no one can deny that Answer is one of the best releases in Kpop.

txt and ateez's concepts in 202 were my fav. i love inception with all my heart and cant you see me is my favourite txt song. NOT TO MENTION THE MVS THEY PRODUCED ISTG. answer is also such a good song. i just love the way hybe makes mvs, especially for txt theyre literal movies atp 😭im not even that much of a moa but i genuinely adore their concepts. every cb is so unique yet somehow makes sense with the previous. and im such a proud atiny to say i understand ateez's full entire lore. both these groups are like babies to me still but i just love them and i've loved to watch them grow

I gotta be honest, due to the pandemic (being a key worker and all) I was super stressed in 2020 and a lot of these songs just flew over my head (with the exception of a few). I was just way too upset and busy all the time to even notice 90% of kpop that year but some of these songs are great. I'm glad I watched this video because it seems I have a lot of catching up to do!

I tend to give 2020 K-Pop a hard time, but it definitely has its moments, looking back now...

its crazy how these songs dont see so old, but i was still back in high school when these came out, it feels so weird realising how much ive changed and how much kpop has changed as well

This is hilarious to me because I remember K-pop stans saying in 2020, that it was the worst year for K-pop, BTS being the ones to blame for ruining K-pop and saying that they wanted to go back to 2016-2018 K-pop. So it's very funny how just 2 years later everyone has switched up and seem to love the retro trend of 2020 that people said they hated.
