Ive been trying to say that in every "rating some challenges" videos. They literally do not know the impact train of their vidoes. Opinions that go viral can also lead to what i call an impact train. Basically that everyone starts having these opinions too, JUST because they think that this is ehat the trend it, or- this is what I should also think.

I felt sad for Hwanwoong who got hated for the way he danced in one of the challenges. His confidence got so shot to the point that now he thinks he’s terrible dancer 😭😭😭. To me, it was more that he added his own style to the dance

I feel so bad for him, idk how he would recover from ppl mocking him online to no end. Literally insane. He did look a lil goofy doing it but I think it's bcuz he's not used to dancing hip hop in oneus, not that he's a bad dancer at all - I'll die on this hill. He didn't deserve all that mockery. Poor guy lost all his confidence from that. The people who mocked him can go f*ck themselves honestly

Its not that he is a bad dancer or anything but I think the only thing was that he placed a little too much emphasis on the moves which came out a bit to strong and a little awkward. I’ve seen him dance before and I can say he dance exceptionally well💖

Sorry but you're just plain-ass wrong. Yes, many idols tried to copy Bada Lee's style as close as possible but it wasn't only Hwanwoong's cover that did something different than the original. There's a difference between purposefully choosing to dance a move differently and disregarding the intention of the original choreo. Some examples of simple yet nice and impactful stylistic choices can be seen in Jisung's, K's, San's, and Kyujin's covers. Jisung (NCT mostly Dream) used his background in popping to do the intro that could show off something that he's really good at. K (&Team) added body waves (fun fact, I wrote "wayvs" on my notes for this comment lmao) throughout the cover to suit his dancing style. San (Ateez) chose to lean back more during the travelling part. Kyujin (NMIXX) changed how legs moved during "I'm gonna smoke you up, Imma smoke you". All changes had a purpose, yet kept the cover what it should look like. Some idols changed the entire style. Natty and Julie (Kiss of Life) did the entire choreo more feminine and they were consistent with it. Hwanwoong changed it as well but unfortunately it wasn't well executed... and my PERSONAL OPINION is that it should have been kept in drafts. You can like HW's choreo, for sure. But don't say he's the only one that did it differently

Happy to see my boy San being praised, because he totally deserves it. But also sad for those who got heave criticism to the point where some of them felt like they had to apologize. Those challenges are supposed to be for fun, people can try different styles in them, it's not the Olympics.

Hwanwoong and Yujin didn't deserve hate their dance was pretty well netizens themselves dont know how to dance properly and saying to idols

did hwanhoong look a little awkward doing it? absolutely. but its a fun dance challenge, its for idols and fans to do to have fun and just learn a new dance! its also a style not many idols will be educated in since kpop idols focus on dances that are meant to be sung along to, not full energy being placed into the dancing. edit: also, hwanhoongs energy while doing it was amazing! the facial expressions were so good! this is just a step into him learning how to do hip hop better and we should encourage him to continue, same with yujin especially because she does more feminine/elegant dances rather than powerful.

It's really ridiculous. Because people who criticize these idols don't know a damn thing about dance but think they are all a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. Not all dancers excell in the same styles. I think Yujin and Hwanwoong are excellent main dancers for their groups as they can excell in that specific style that the group has. Not everyone is gonna be great at hiphop. Doesn't mean they are bad dancers. It's really rare to see dancers who excell in almost every style. They exist, but are rare. For example, ballet is dancing, hiphop is dancing, but a ballerina probably won't excell in hiphop and vice versa. Doesn't mean they are bad if they can't excell in it.

They are not mutually exclusive. She might've been bad at this challenge, but the rest of IVE didnt even attempted it. It's pretty obvious they are a not a group of dancers and that's fine. I'm not criticizing them or Yujin. Just saying that knetz's opinion that the rest of IVE can not keep up with Yujin had nothing to do with Yujin being bad at some dumb tik tok dance challenge.

Also IVE has some of the most complicated dances. I do Kpop dances as a beginner and Im more likely to learn an Itzy dance before an Ive one.

Hwanwoong is just one of my favorite and underrated dancers in kpop! People criticize him without actually considering the fact that everyone has different dance styles and just because you're the main dancer doesnt mean you have to fit all of them!

I think that if you're performing the dance at an event, you need to have perfect body control to execute and pull it off. But the idols are doing this for fun, as extra content for their fans so hating and criticising them is just stupid.
