Not really, I love her and everything but, even though I love how she dances, she is pretty sloppy with her moves and it's very common for her to not have the proper angles and her technique is not on point. I'm not trying to be mean at her but, what I can recommend you to do to see what I mean, watch the performances and dance practices with no camera movement and play them at half speed. Fancams doesn't work because you cannot compare with other members performance and those videos where they are recorded alone and then put them side by side doesn't work aswell because they are technically solo videos and you need to see how the idols perform as a group in a group choreo. Hahahaha sorry for the bible xD It's just that I'm a dance teacher and I do record my students to analize the choreo and improve it, also, for them to see in detail what needs to be improved.

But i guess if there are other members who are more suitable to be the main vocalist main rapper or main dancer then those members should be on that position. Yes they can hold lead vocalist, lead rapper or lead dancer position. I am saying this as a ONCE whose bias is JIHYO.

And u know what’s even more interesting, solar , the industry’s vocalist taught moonbyul how to rap and now she is the most credited female rapper and she is loved a lot by the audience cause she writes her own raps and is versatile and has flow and can rap quite fast .

But yo Jihyo has the potential to be a Main Dancer!! I honestly thought that she was in the Dance line 😭, Cuz her Stage Presence is immaculate! 😭❤️

Why does it not surprise me that Seulgi was originally slated to be the main vocalist? But Red Velvet wouldn’t be Red Velvet without Wendy! And so, the No Jam duo was formed 💛💙

Actually Moonbyul wanted to be vocalist first but the others were powerful vocalists than her,so she and the company agreed to her debut as a rapper.fun fact-solar taught her how to rap!

Agree with the others but nah Jennie ain't main vocal material. She has a beautiful tone but technique wise she ain't strong. And karina is already a sub vocal, she could debut as a main vocal in other groups.

Why Jihyo didnt actually become the main dancer is because Momo joined at the last second so they had to replace Jihyo's main dancer position.

And pretty much all members of Seventeen: they were shuffled around. These are the ones I distinctly remember: SCoups: supposed to be part of the vocal team, but became leader of hiphop unit instead (also General Leader) Woozi: supposed to be part of the performance unit, but became leader of vocal unit instead Vernon: I think he was also supposed to be part of vocal unit, but became part of hiphop unit Wonwoo: I don't remember which unit he was supposed to be in, but he was chosen for hiphop unit in the end because he matched the look This is also why SVT are such all-rounders. Each member is equally good at singing, dancing, and rapping; the unit they're assigned to just shows off their specialty. But in reality, they can be part of any unit. Honorable mention is Boo who is absolutely phenomenal at all 3. He has good rhythm when rapping, and he can easily match Hoshi and Dino when it comes to dancing. And of course, stunning vocals - one of the best of 3rd gen in my opinion.

Personally, i think Jennie would’ve just stayed Lead Vocalist because her Vocal Range/Support/Technique can’t support being main. Still really good though❤️🫶🏽

seulgi was training to be a main vocalist for 5 years but sadly got vocal nodules. so for the last 2 years of her training, she started focusing more on dancing and showed great potential. luckily (or maybe sm was intentionally looking for a main vocalist-material idk) , wendy joined sm around that time so seulgi was now assigned to be the main dancer and wendy as the main vocalist.

Jennie is an average singer. So making her main vocalist is not a good decision

jihyo is truly an all rounder. I first became a fan of twice in the like ooh ah era because I heard her vocals in the chorus playing from another room and ran in to ask which group it was!! and her dance/stage presence is truly mind blowing - it still surprises me that it took until dtna for her fancams to start blowing up. I love godjihyo!!

Same she’s my favorite vocal… she’s sounds unique, if YG kept her as a vocalist I really do think she was going to be one of the strongest vocalists.

Jennie is a very weak vocalist in terms of vocal range and backing. She wasn't even a lead vocalist during her debut time. She’s a lead vocalist for Blackpink, that's enough for her.

Yes you're right in blackpink except rose others member don't have support range. Jennie's main power is her powerfull vocal but sometimes she scream to much and gets couple of seconds more to complete her line. But ye then she gets proper vocal treaning she can be strong lead vocalists.

@@xq-zb4su yeah, but still I don't understand why people call her better than jisoo in vocal And also include her this video. Because they're are lots of idol who deserves this title like jeongyeon, EXO's all lead vocalist, jin is lead vocalist and more idol u can find. But they always include Jennie like this video because she is more famous than others.

This is actually wrong cuz none of them (Jennie,jisoo) can be main vocalist. Main vocal should include techniques and a lot of support which they don't have Jennie have a shallow support only while jisoo doesn't have any if they want to be the main vocalist then atleast they have to come at the same level as rosé
