Hayasdan Lodge presents:
A fundraising event dedicated to a young family who has sacrificed so much for the Armenian nation. The Haroutyounyan family lost their beloved Raffi Haroutyounian during the last battle of Artsakh. Along with six of his comrades, Raffi made the ultimate sacrifice in the town of Martuni at the age of 33 in September of 2023.
Born in May 1990 Raffi was from the town of Asgeran on the outskirts of Stepanakert. He grew up to join the special forces of Artsakh and got married on October 2012 at the age of 22 with his beautiful wife Anahid whom he left behind along with their two beautiful children Victoria, 11 year-old and Sergei 8-year-old.
Anahid and her two children have joined the wave of 120,000 Armenians who have made the courageous decision to leave behind their homes, businesses, and familiar lives, seeking a new beginning in the mainland of Armenia. This mass exodus has brought together a resilient community of individuals, united in their determination to rebuild and start anew.
The Knights of Vartan compassionate campaign, 'Let Us Help Armenia One Family at a Time” focuses on supporting a carefully selected family in their journey to start anew. This dedicated and patriotic family was selected for their exceptional commitment, and the Knights of Vartan are committed to helping them build a brighter future and to make a tangible impact in their lives.
