Kreia actually tried to give Atton some measure of comfort here. It seems everyone forgets that. "Don't worry "Atton". If s/he is a Jedi, s/he will forgive you. And if s/he is not, s/he won't care."

She is only trying to make him like her to some extent. She's using the carrot and the stick but she is using calming words and terrifying threats.

I'm not sure that counts as comfort, given that she's mocking his fake name in the same breath. I think that's more of her way of turning the conversation towards the Exile so that she can get Atton to react in the way he's predictably going to, and therefore bend him to his will. It's a redirect - he's angry at Kreia for the intrusion and likely defiant, but he flips over to fear as soon as the Exile is brought up because he truly does want the Exile to like him and it doesn't take a giant leap of imagination to think up what Kreia having this information could mean.

and there is its HEART

"No... I've wasted enough time on you. Sleep, murderer." One of my favorite Kreia lines.

Kreia was the best SW character ever. Just a full-on Space Nietzsche who thinks the best thing for the entire galaxy would be for everyone to forget the Force exists and stop playing with the mechanics of reality.

The dialogue in this game is nearly perfect.

it's funny b/c Kotor 1 obviously felt more like a "traditional" Star Wars story, but Kotor 2 felt so much more cinematic. Kotor 1 got repetitive after a while searching for the fucking star maps, but with Kotor 2 every planet felt a lot more unique, and it also felt like there were real consequences depending on whether you went light or dark
