LIV Is this Holocap's depth camera or one of the old Kinect methods? I keep trying to find a solution that has varible tracked depth keying that works on moving objects both close and up to 75ft from a camera thats moving itself. Everything I've seen over the years can only do close objects that aren't move towards or away from a static camera. Crossing my fingers - Which camera is this? Can it do that?

Hahah, I know - I hate cameras and refuse to record myself on youtube, but...I actually want to put on a costume and record Beat Saber, hahah.

It's funny because it's basically a better version of those webcam effects where you step out of the frame and hop back in, but this is a game changer.

@@liv How-to-guide? I am trying to do the same thing and achieve this no green screen recording gameplays. I'm not getting the full virtual world in my recordings, only the weapons in my hands and some other elements in my video clips.

First, you are unreal. Grats! Second, the cam tech is awesome. Jaw dropped. Finally, so if I put those two pound weights on my wrists, then this game could be a real workout.

I remember watching videos of Beat Saber with my sister in the house of my parents when a truck drivers strike or walkout in Brazil, in 2018. It was because they were suffering a lot with the prices of fuel and other things, my sister cut a log out of a tree that existed in our house. And she made rice using it and our grill, using the log as fuel, we had beans and a good meat too, with some Coca-cola. That was her way of proving that we can live with simple stuff, survivalists. I also have those thoughts and ideas, I would like to live as a survivalist one day when I have money. Those days were the days when I also read a story about Sunset Shimmer of the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls cartoon on 4chan on a morning while drinking Coca-cola. Anyway, this was one of those videos that I watched with my sister at those times. Ah... Good times they were...

Was thinking how it would like to see people playing without the VR screen to show whats happening. Yep, it still look silly tho, but when in the game looks really freaking AWESOME!

Unfortunately I can’t afford a pc, vr, and this amazing setup. I’m a console peasant and super jelly that we can’t get all these unlicensed tracks and alternate sabers like y’all can thanks to mods.

As for a tech guy it just raised the coolness. Also a bit reminded me of the future as we seen in Zero Theorem, Caprica, Ready P1... We'll meet and interact in VR instead of the real world.

If I have to guess, I'd say you'd need to take a picture of the room you're going to be playing in, and somehow assign it as your "green screen" in LIV. Then, during your games, LIV will mask everything that matches the picture, effectively acting as a virtual green screen. So meta!

LIV I'm partial to my Vive, but the rift has some nice controllers. It'd be interesting to see using the Vive hmd and the rift controllers in a setup like that haha, wonder if it'd work.

Id love to be part of the no green screen beta. I have a 4x oculus sensor setup with 2x pair of touch controllers. But if i had to play beat saber with any clothes on id die.

Hey do you know what the procedure is? I'm only getting like the weapons in my hands and walls and other elements going by in my gameplay footage but not the entire virtual world in my clips. I calibrated my LIV VR and LIV Vivr. Now what is the next step in my procedure to get this full virtual world footage with no green screen.

I’m doing this setup now and I can’t decide where to place the Rift sensors in relation to the Kinect camera. I currently face 2 Rift sensors and have a 3rd one behind me. The Kinect camera is behind me, next to the 3rd Rift sensor. Is this how it’s done or should I face the rear sensor?
