As an older fan I appreciate these mostly freestyle, back to the roots, battles. So dope secret event for the real fans. I can imagine newer fans not liking/understanding it though, since they're only used to the finished product and don't know the history.

I've been loving these small room battles. They give me that old feel without much interruption from the crowd. I prefer these type of battles to be honest. Salute to KOTD from London. We see the dedication and hard work. Its fully appreciated

This battle literally took me back to the Jumpoff WRC qualifiers in 2006 with just heads from the battle rap culture in the room, the freestyles, etc... this is when battle rap was fun to watch. None of this stage shit with whack ass crowds booing at every opportunity. I get that it's a business and you have to make your profit but this is the true essence of battling that I love. Shoutout KOTD and everybody in the room for real
