It was sad but the right thing to do he was not mentally capable he threw his own baby cuz his concubine asked him a question not even a bad one he would get obsessed with certain people and they took advantage of his inability to have emotional intelligence and ended up letting tyrants take over villages and he almost used all the money the empire had by just giving it to his favorite concubines and bribed others, it was going to happen no matter what

The best actor I have ever seen in my life, a more than wonderful portrayal that deserves an Oscar for this performance
He wasn't a good ruler but he didn't deserve ant of this He deserved to be loved and cared for
I don’t understand why they couldn’t keep someone locked in a decent room ? The person would still be locked but can have room amenities and food . They are not criminals after all , they were Prince .
I understand that Ibrahim wasn't a great Sultan, but why did Kösem put him in such a dark room? Why couldn't she order to make this dungeon a little bit lighter? Ibrahim is still her son. Disclaimer: here is Kösem and Ibrahim from the show are discussed, not real ones.

I ve read in real Ibrahim was executed bc he ordered to slaughter his whole harem bc his fat favourite concubine was jealous and she persuaded him to do it for her. one concubine escaped though and allarmed people of what happened and angered crowd lynched the Sultan and strangled him to death

Ibrahim was strangled on 18 August 1648. Sultan Osma was lynched and later executed. What book are you getting such information from?
