absolutly love this bag ive made a few mods to it and had this for around a year and its still looking like new great gear korum :)

It would of been a bit better if you had put external bank stick holders on like the other bags on the market 👍🏻

would of been great to see a clip showing the inside space etc :)

Korum need to start making luggage in pannier form for those of us that cycle. Or I need to buy a sewing machine and design my own lol

Shame you didn’t think to show the inside of the rucksack to give an idea as to space etc.

i can confirm it can hold alot, atm i have my guru feeder box a cool pouch and enough space to put my transistion rod bag inside when folded down and my hooklink pouches it really depends on what you choose to carry inside but it has alot of room and very comfitable to wear also

Yes I also have both the roving and transition inside holds plenty on both bags

Great vid,the small ruckbag doesent fit the deluxe aeronium chair with armrest's.i bought it and found that out nvm still light enough to carry 👍great bit of kit with Eva pouches etc in it.

Will either of these carry the s23 deluxe chair?

I have the compact ruckbag of 2 years ago plus the small chair, both great bits of kit. However, I cannot for the life of me see why you create a padded back and then place the chair so the chair sits on your back, furthermore the chair is on the side of the main compartement zip, so if you don't want to sit down and need quick access to the main compartment, you have to take the chair off. May seem trivial but the Fox Ruckall seemed to have managed it.

If you put the chair the other side of the bag it's the most unbalanced setup going and puts way too much stress on the bag

@@KorumFishing I've not found this with a lightweight chair tbh, but fair comment it could be an issue. However, I still feel the bag could be accessed on the opposite side where the chair goes.

Totally agree the chair hooks are on completely the wrong side great padded back rest and a great amount of shoulder strap .. But killed in an instant when the chair is clipped / trapped between bag and your back .. the metal frame of the chair banging your head / neck .. needs a redo ...

would have been nice to see main compartment

Having the chair hooks positioned between the bag and your back seems very odd and very uncomfortable wouldn’t they be better on the back of the ruck bag?

BEST bag ever been in 10 years he says ????? well would have been i igree if the durable rubber latex mesh zipped pockets had been left on the inner main an outer main compartment , as he says the thing that makes a korum ruckbag has actually been removed !!!!

Is the S23 compact chair compatible please?

What other brand chairs fit?

I bought this but really think you should emphasise more that not all chairs will fit and you should also show how to fit a chair to it, I have a Korum chair, it’s not a particularly big chair and it don’t fit, not even close

I love korum gear. Great robust gear. Unfortunately the ruck bags don't have one key feature. A Waist Strap. Essential to transfer weight off your back and shoulders onto your hips as all loads of any weight should be carried. Really is a shame. Would make these bags perfect for roving. 3kilo chair. Another 3 to 4 kilos of gear and that's a big load resting on your lower back not your hips as it would do if it had a waist strap. Lads any chance ye can add a waist strap next time?even a 2 inch one would make a huge difference for safe carrying.

Thanks for the feedback David. They do feature a chest strap which we find is more than enough for the load capacity of the bag itself.

@@KorumFishing thanks for replying to my post. Nice to see a company taking an interest in its customers posts. A chest strap is designed to pull the shoulder straps in and make them sit more comfortable3 alright. But the full weight of the bag and it's attachments still rests squarely on the spine especially the lower back. the chest strap will not deflect any weight off the spine and mitigate against back issues where as a waist strap will. It takes the major of the weight off the spine and transfers it to the hips. As the hips are below the spine the weight rests on them and weight is carried by the legs. It's simple back safety. I know I sound pedantic but a small waist strap will make the ruck bags safer and more comfortable. I love the format of the Korum ruck bags just the lack of a waist strap would make it that much better. Have a look at a the waist strap on a mil-tec 20L back pack. Cheap to add. I've added a condor Gen II Battle Belt to mine for added comfort and it easy to slot forceps etc into the webbing when roving for pike perch etc .

@@davidgoff2204 I wholeheartedly agree. And IF they have a waist band, what you see way too much is a bag that is not long enough to let the waist band sit on your waist. A waist band on your belly doesn't do anything for spreading the load. So the best imrovement for me would be: make bag longer (and narrower maybe) and add a waist band that doesn't interfere with the chair.

Yes this ruckbag is good , but please explain why the very good features have been removed of previous model ?? E,g. rubber mesh zipped internal an external pockets ?? which were very usefull and practical . On the larger model top and bottom pouches ? , its very usefull in a review to actually explain why features have been removed ???. I have a feeling this is down to cost ? if so its a shame that features have to be removed at the expense of practical features that anglers actually like and want .

I opened the korum compact ruckbag as a Christmas present yesterday, I love it. I think it is great but for some strange reason on the back of the the logo thing that holds the mat has snapped. Does this happen with anyone else?

The chairhooks are pretty brilliant I must say. For me who does everything by bicycle it would be an outcome. But can you fit any chair on it or specific ones?!

Come on mate if going do a thorough review then at least show inside main compartment an tell us why zipped mesh pockets have gone , which was big feature of the original deluxe ruckbag explain in video why youve removed featues

Skimped on features !! i thought idea of new design was to add to exsisting features not take them away !!!! this guy dosent even open main compartment ?? why the original had a large inner mesh zipped pocket now gone !! also the outer long pouch had a zipped mesh pocket as well come on korum if going design new product add features not take away to save on cost shame otherwise great product if zipped mesh pockets had been left as on original ruckbags
