Honestly, I fully get why Korra never asked for help. Ever since she was a child, being the best Avatar was her dream. She worked hard to be where she is today, and that’s because she dedicated her life to mastering the elements. In her eyes, the Avatar asking for help meant she was weak, and like any normal human being, she didn’t want to be seen as ‘weak’. There’s also the issue where she might think she’s asking for help too many times.

Exactly it part her development because she thought she invisible because she was avatar but she wasn’t she had learn the hard it part her development in her character

Aang grew up wanting to be a normal person in a world that wanted him to be the Avatar. Korra grew up wanting to be the Avatar in a world that didn't want her. Her growth and character development throughout the show however I would say is better than Zuko's (but he is damn close). And her behaviour is understandable to a degree with how she grew up.

korra to me always have a fighting spirit and try to protect other her way while aang he a gentle person who doesnt like violence. They may be a difference but both strive for piece and had difficulties. It doesnt make sense to hate one avatar as the rest of the avatar made mistakes in the past great reaction hala best korra

I agree with everything you just said, most of them hate her just because she's not aang :( she's been through a lot. Overcoming ptsd was amazing tho. I love this song because it's really like her and her message. They have different worlds and struggles, villains and such. True, but touching on Korra beating Vaatu, Vaatu before fusing with unalaq was beaten so easily if you look back, he might be the source of all darkness but Wan and Korra clapped him easy

Honestly Korra is an 8.5

The only thing I really have problem with is that aang technically died while in the avatar state thanks to Azula and the avatar cycle should've been broken. They might've explained since I did stop watching it in the earliest parts of the show

This was amazing

I don't having anything against Korra as a character, but the series itself changed so much of the worldbuilding in the first one. Metalbending, bloodbending, ect is supposed to be v rare, as well as the city being, in my opinion, pretty optimistically done in that amount of time as opposed to a more realistic approach.

Its been 70 years. I find the world building normal, look back 30 years ago and see the difference and its huge and amazing. The metal bending wasn't really supposed to be rare, after all, you don't need to be a special person to learn it..you just have to be strong and as in LEARN it. The bloodbending, I kinda understand that a bit, but they're in a city so you can't really expect that not to happen.

I respect the respect you give Korra. She deserves it. The Legend Of Korra was just as much of a masterpiece as The Last Airbender. I was surprised by how much fans of the series were divided by what's literally the same being in a different body (for those who don't know how reincarnation works), so disrespecting one is disrespecting both of them. Which is why I liked how you said Aang would be proud of her. I would never recommend one over the other. I always recommend people watch the Avatar Series since it's all amazing. Everyone has the right to their own opinions but I still love it.

Not really. Korra is different from aang just like how aang is different roku. They all have the same spirit but that spirit doesn’t affect their personality directly

Actually you're wrong about Cora being stronger then Aang because the next Avatar isn't stronger it's just their abilities are passing down the difference is the actual users photo Aang was still the better protagonist

It hurt me to say that she is saying fact but I’m team aang

But isn't Korra starting a new cycle of the avatar? She can't connect with the past avatar's anymore, while Aang could still connect with the past avatar's. I'm not trying to disrespect Korra but I'm sure Aang his stronger than Korra because he was still able to connect with the past avatar's and have all their bending techniques, skills and mastery of the elements. She just has the avatar state with none of the past avatar's experience. I respect Korra because what she was able to do when her power as the avatar was crippled so much. But I don't believe she's stronger than Aang.

ngl i hate aang he let yakone live like how dare he. i think katara would want yakone dead when they first got him aang is not a good avatar in my eyes he to soft he did defeat the fire lord atleast

He was raised by pacifist nomads who didnt have a military branch and was told he was the avatar at premature age and lets not forget he woke up after 100 years to learn his people were genocided. Mastered the elements in months and was already a master of his own element at 12. Aang brought peace to the world. Korra on the other hand lost rava, nearly got killed by zaheer in the avatar state, kept the portal open with no knowledge of what would happen korra doesent think at all she's just a brute aang is way better than korra show was alright tho
