something ppl dont get with lava/magma is that its literally molten rock so it's way more dense than a person: you wouldn't sink into it. how my teacher told it to me, you'd be instantly fused to the rock like a steak on a frying pan, only for an instant later for the water that makes up 70% of you to boil into steam almost instantly, launching/tumbling you into more magma for you to be seared to, and this would repeat until you're cooked through. nobody on pineapple island is wearing clothes that would prevent them from "sticking" to the magma, and that baby would have 'bounced" a few times.
