Yes. This is an analysis of a dog, but I promise it's more interesting than you might think. Koromaru is one of the better dog characters I've seen in a game because he has a pretty good character arc, and while he's not causing a major shake up to the narrative, he provides a great dynamic to the game and the characters, and in this video I go over his story, background, Persona, arcana, and etc. to prove my point.

"Persona 3 Reload is a 2024 role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 (2006), the fourth main installment of the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. As with the original game, the protagonist is a high school student returning to his home city a decade after his parents were killed in a fatal car crash. He soon gains the potential to summon a Persona-the physical manifestation of his inner spirit, and joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), a group of like-minded Persona users. Koromaru is the best doggy. I funny thing that happened while I was playing the game, my real dog got jealous and just sat in my lap trying to knock the controller out of my hands

In persona Q Margaret explains that the reason why Koro denies a second persona is because he doesn’t want to forget his failure of protecting his master. Same with Shinji. They accept their failures and take strength from their regrets.
Atlus writing a peak character and it's literally just a dog
A reliable, faithful and loyal companion above all others. Back when non-human party members weren't annoying as hell.

Koromaru is genuinely my favorite Persona character, he's like the perfect example of simple yet effective. He's loyal, friendly, intelligent, and most of all he's absolutely adorable. What more do you need?

I hope Atlus explores the idea of animals having Peraonas more in Persona 6. There's SO MUCH potential in that concept that hasn't beem tapped into.

Oh I cannot lie it was a very nice change of pace to work on a shorter analysis, especially considering the next one will probably be fairly lengthy.

The only thing i hate about playing with koromaru is how much the entire female cast seems to be talking about koromaru. I mean I love this dog too but please don't tell me about every little bark in 3 paragraphs man.
