Our little girl (that’s her with her little tennis racket with me in my profile pic) was a very picky eater. But she loved the movie Ratatouille. So, when we had white clam chowder (which sorta looks like the Linguini soup in the movie) the first time and she refused to eat it, I told her “Look! It’s Linguini soup!” And she ate it right up. She’s 14 now. We still call it Linguini soup. And she still loves it. I loved all the “Love you Mom/Dad!” shoutouts. That was so sweet! Additional note: That same sweet little girl started going out with me to sushi when she was very little. Her mother would dress her up for her “date” with daddy at the local Korean owned sushi restaurant. I would walk in with this cute little blonde girl all dressed up and the waitresses would almost run to come greet her and help her. She started off only eating edamame and miso soup. But the chefs would bring things for her to try that they cut into small pieces just for her. To this day she loves sushi. We still go out on sushi dates together.

This is so cute. My dad and I were "bummin' buddies", which meant he would take me and my curly bright red hair everywhere, even if it meant getting extra attention because that's just life as a redhead lol. Spending time together is priceless and I'm sure your daughter will treasure those memories forever.

That cardboard slide omg. When I was little my family lived in a house with a carpeted staircase to the second floor, and my sister and I would slide down the stairs with nothing under us. I remember sliding until I got rug burn. When we moved to a new house there was a large dirt pile from construction that became our new slide using saucer sleds. I think a lot of my outside clothes ended up with dirt stains on the seat of the pants because of that. 😂

There's no mystery about it. The reason the dad's tree looks so janky is because he's freezing because he no longer has socks or shirts, the laundry can't be done because the basket's/hamper's in the tub, and he can't get up stairs because he'll just slide down the slide. Genius mothers are the equivalent of Kevin from Home Alone, they rig the house to maim any adult on the premise. I'm kidding. . . . kinda.

I don't understand why people always interpret closeness as romantic closeness. And it especiallu happens if people are of the opposite sex to each other. Anyways, if they really are romantically involved that's whatever.

I hear of parents who say to their kids that if you can hear the music coming from the ice cream truck, then that means they're all out of ice cream 😂 Has anyone been fed this lie before as a child?

Me and my brother has like 2 years difference and he couldn't speak properly for like 7-8 years and people around him specially my parents weren't able to understand what he mean so they always asked me and I don't know how I always understood what he was tryna say. . currently I'm 18 and he's 16 but still if my parents don't understand they still ask me and I feel like I'm his interpreter or something 😂😂
