Actually in indonesia, the complete word for Train also Kereta Api same as malaysia, but we shorten it as Kereta

I'm french and the translation for train in french isn't former which means to train (like in sports), it is like in english "train" but with a different pronunciation

Indonesian mostly has similar words in 700-ish local languages, it is hard to picked any for sake of originality and avoid to be accused as favoritism toward certain tribe. For example, Javanese has "kuthuk" for "Chick (the baby one)", but nobody outside Javanese can pronounce it right

not all Malays say rame-rame , rame-rame is more like dialect for example some place say ramo-ramo/rame-rame /ghamå-ghamå/rramo and informal pronunciation while rama-rama is a formal pronunciation

Also Malay speakers nowadays had a mixed up actually. In the Malay dictionary, beautiful colourful butterfly is Kupu-kupu, while Rama-rama is a the genral name for four winged insect including moth that go out at night.
