@Ufuk Ulusoy Can you search '한국 민속 음악' or '아리랑' in google? It will show you some korean folk songs.

In 1965, when Korea was a very poor country and Erica was unborn, I heard this tune many times during my US Army service on the 38th Parallel. Hearing Erica play it now makes me glad I was there.

I have a music box my Dad bought when we were stationed in Korea. I was 2. I have cherished this box but more so the song. 45 years later I know the name of the sweetest song.

I just started learning to play this on my ukulele. Have loved this song since I first heard it when I started dating this cute Korean girl I met in school at Cal. State Fullerton, University 44 years ago. BTW, we've been married over 41 years now (3 children and 6 grandchildren later). I still love this traditional Korean song. Thanks for sharing with us!

Lovely rendition. Hearing ARIRANG always gets rather emotional. Sang this as a child and it also remind me, especially of my Korean neighbours and friends.

Got introduced to Arirang in a rather unexpected way, of all places, I did not expect a spin-off of a violent comic book adaptation to pack such an emotional punch. "The Boys: Diabolical", an animated anthology contains one episode called "John and Sunhee", about a Korean elderly couple and it's simply beautiful. Just like this interpretation, beautiful, thank you for posting.

A lady I met while she was visiting from Kazakhstan told me that Josef Stalin grabbed several thousand native Koreans around 76+ years ago and transplanted them to where you are now. Good hearing from you. And, yes, Arirang is a nice melody which has been wonderfully interpreted here on the guitar by this lovely musical artist. Take care!
