It's sad that Korean people always talk about SM's visual .BUT SM's biggest strength is their vocal and talent. To be honest SM has the most all rounder artist in kpop in general.But sadly nobody in Korea recognize it.

They don’t talk about vocal and talent because SM is already well known for their vocal ability and their coaches. They all recognized it already lmao. So it’s like, SM picked the visual out of the talented people. I mean, they’re that big, the amount of people trying to join SM is that big so they have a lot of choices.

It’s because SM is the biggest company known for their street casting, as in they see a very good looking teen and ask them to audition. They are also known for how much lots of their talent looks like they could be siblings because their taste are specific

It's so nice to see such a young SHINee fan. They're not necessarily the trendiest group out now, and teens tend to gravitate to idols nearer to their ages, so this was a nice surprise. :) Gotta love babywols!

Gosh, I wish LSM stop his petty ex tendencies towards JYJ, it looks disgusting.

SM doesn't have just the visuals. They have the vocals, choreo, experimental music, trendsetting concepts, strong & controversial lyrics, deeply connected universe between all groups, and the close knit family relationship between all of their idols, along with Lee Soo Man. Not to mention the only company with active idols from all 4 generations. 💚

EXO might be the SM's biggest boygroup but i would never discredit the others especially the 1st gen and 2nd gen groups. If not for them, EXO and NCT would never been existed in this kpop industry. All of them are successful and made a historical achievement at least ONCE. Not just SM boygroup but their girlgroup too! Always have a massive respect to SM idols!

Agree. It really irks me when I see younger kpop fans state EXO or NCT pave the way. Hell no! Without gen 1, there's no gen 2. Without gen 2, there's no gen 3. I'm speaking here as an SM stan. I like all SM idols. My ult grp is Shinee but never will I ever belittle groups and solo stars before them who pave the way, laying the kpop brick for younger groups their path to stardom.

Shinee will forever be iconic. You could actually see their passion everytime they performed and still so so humble.

SM stans having a hard time because they are all good, each idol is well-known, and groups have each of their major achievements for the kpop industry.

i think EXO’s debut song was the hardest the choreography as well as the song also the meaning and message was deep too honestly it was a heavy song, LSM had guts debuting his brand new teenage bg with such heavy song but i guess he was confident in them

The intensity of the choreography goes everytime they debut a new group. NCT has the hardest choreography debut, that's why in a survival show when the trainee has to pick a song they want to perform, everyone avoided NCT's 😂

for me tvxq is the best. hug may be a simple song telling the story of a young high schooler but it had superior vocals in it going upwards to acapella and moderate dance from the beginning going up to a hard core dance break. no need to comment on their visuals! and the talent when they have been the blue print for groups in 4th gen as well

TVXQ is the most talented vocal group that has ever existed in Kpop imo. Just listen to their older albums, they also have so many acapella songs released. They are still very huge in Japan and most people there know who they are. I have heard all the members live except for Yunho (he was in the military) and they beat the vocal lines of SuJu, SHINee, EXO, and NCT. Imo especially NCT still lacks a distinct vocal colour and tone, as there is no singer in NCT yet that people on the streets recognize their voices (e.g., SHINee Onew & Jonghyun, SuJu Kyuhyun or Donghyun, EXO Baekhyun... those are singers with very specific voice tones.) But in general, SM idols are so well trained. TVXQ's dancing is of course nowhere nearly as good as SHINee, NCT, or EXO. (Although individually, Yunho and Xia are on level with NCT, SHINee, and EXO.) When it comes to who can both sing and dance live on stage and has the best harmony as a package, it is definitely SHINee. SHINee is a killer group and I've seen them live two times and Taemin three times. Taemin is currently the best male solo idol in Kpop imo (he can sing and dance better than GDragon), and I can't wait for some NCT member to go solo. I was very excited that Kai went solo and imo Taeyong needs a major solo comeback soon, with a concept like in this thumbnail. SM is incomparable to YG and JYP. The company might be just as shady, but the artists are wonderful.

Actually, you can hear Yunho singing live with Changmin on their japan tour! They both covered the iconic one piece opening (which is also an official cover btw)- We are! And that live performance went wiild! It's still on YT you can hear Yunho live vocals there

SHINee will always be my no 1 and now NCT is also my babies too... but i will never discredit the 1st gen who made this all happen.. without them, the newer SM generation might not even happen... DBSK and SuJu really popular across asia during their time even without media social (viral, hashtag etc) like nowadays...

I love how every SM group is different than the rest of kpop in each era. TVXQ conquer Japan, Suju brings hallyu wave to asia, Shinee brings so many new trends with them, especially in fashion. EXO became huge so fast with their big fandom, NCT brings a whole new concept that had never existed in kpop.

Actually SUPER JUNIOR brought me to know the KPop world (2017)😄😄...I love all their ballads😊😊....Then from Suju I got to know many idols, because Suju members always appear on many variety shows, they are radio DJs (Sukira, etc.) even since their debut... They are close to senior idols and juniors even from different companies... I think they really are a group with talented members.

I dont remember which news I had read but most of the media predict that even in 100 years, there are no company able to create a group like DBSK since its a complete package boy group. Since all of them are vocalist and have a great harmonize especially in accapella. Never forget that when DBSK broke up, Lee Soo Man got heart attack till need to get a medical treatment in USA. Even Im EXO-L and NCTzen, I cant move on how DBSK give a big impact towards Kpop

There’s not a single mediocre or average group that SM has produced till date. The moves, the synchronisation, the voices, the looks, the power, charisma, presence! No one can ever beat SM in these. Popularity is a very random thing but in terms of talent production and being trendsetters, SM is still the number one

EXO's debut is on edgy side than the other groups who are more bubble pop while NCT is also edgy but not as edgy as EXO. Hahahaha but every group SM released have become successful

I am such an SM stan, though I do need to listen/watch more of their 1st gen groups/artists more. As of this moment, I am an ELF, Cassiopeia/Cassie, Shawol, EXO-L, and NCTzen in terms of SM's boy groups. This video made me happy having the boys getting some love.

I think most of the time sm artist's talent are overshadowed by how pretty they are. SM is not just about visual but they have best vocalists and dancers in kpop and best discography too. People really overlook and only focus on sm visual.

We have been waiting for exo to come to Turkey since 2012 they are my life I love them so much 🧡

First group+song who introduced me to kpop : TVXQ - Hug (and TVXQ - Balloon is just 😍) I still stream their old songs over and over even after years) The group+song that brought me head over heels for kpop : SJ - Don't Don & Sorry Sorry (Kyuhyun's vocal is my favorite from then until now 😍) First group that I love and follow since their debut + love every single songs : SHINee (I always listen to SHINee whenever I feel down and their songs would always cheer me up :'))

If you look at it, almost if not all the people that debuted with SM have become very successful with everything they do. whether it's acting or reality shows or whatever, they are now successful. This is why I respect them cause they know how to find gems and nourish them into diamonds. SM is the best hands down even though they still need to do more work on themselves.
