In a Heartbeat is from 2 Queer people at my college, Ringling College of Art and Design. They were a year behind me. Very sweet and hard working people! They have gone on to animate at big studios.

One of them went to the same grade school and high school as I did. She's a few years younger than me, so I don't really know her well. I knew her mom better because she worked at our school and her parents used to live across the street from mine lol.

That’s how my partner caught my attention before we were dating, they bought some food that was specifically made for people with allergies and they didn’t have a clue that they bought a favourite of mine. ☺️

Maybe show them the sapphire and ruby wedding from Steven universe! It’s a canon lesbian wedding and the creators made sure that even in countries that had tried to sensor them in the past by making one of the characters voiced by a man had to accept it was gay by putting the more traditionally masculine one in a wedding dress and the more traditionally feminine one in a tux!

Agreed, being in my friend group and being in part of the lgbtq+ community is totally normal for us, we’re constantly changing our sexuality and gender. We don’t even have to come out to eachother, it’s just “Hey, I’m feeling like I’m [Insert gender/sexuality],” and the others respect it.

Thank you for confiding some of your personal experiences! We all know how scary and risky it can be, if others in your life don't know yet. But I'm sure there are other LGBTQIA+ viewers here who live in Korea and who now feel braver after hearing the two of you speak about your relationship and experiences with others on this channel. Thank you. Also....I don't know how much free time you two have as high school students; the covid pandemic hasn't made spare time for students easy. But I would recommend that they watch the entire She-ra and the Princesses of Power animated series together, at some point. It's a reboot of a popular 1980's cartoon in the US and only 5 short seasons. But it's written and directed by an LGBTQIA+ person this time; Noelle Stevenson. And Noelle obviously knew how to make a compelling cast with multiple LGBTQIA+ characters, rather than just the usual 2 characters. I think you would find it a fun, relatable, & sweet show if you two ever felt like giving it a watch together.!
